I think the main reason theyre making this, isnt tied to how much money 1st movie made. Its because since time of release. This amazing movie has gained a pretty big fan base. Like the people that saw it, genuinely loved it. Not quite a cult following but still has gained aton of fans after leaving theaters. We all fell in love with the characters. I want to see the brothers meet back up and take on the organization that bernthal was working for before going rouge to help his bro. So much stuff they can dive into. Like this organization and what theyr all about. And also how Christian & handler help the FBI with tips and work with a government mole. There is alot more to tell here. Just happy to get another film.

The way back was a great dramatic movie. I only watched because because of the basketball aspects. I like that ben can ball. And im so glad Gavin is coming back because the feel and tone of 1st movie were simply perfect. That being said Affleck could also easily direct this one and still be just as good as 1st. But i love that theyre working together again

Ben Affleck is honestly one of my favorite actors and one of my favorite directors. The Town is such a great movie. He did an amazing job on that one. 5yrs later and yay! Sounds like we are indeed getting a sequel! And Berthtal is coming back despite blowing up since the 1st movie. I couldnt be more excited.

I didn't mind the boyfriend making the save, it's not as though he made the rescue because he was better. He was just in the right place, at the right time! As for the heat blade lady, man oh man, they did her so wrong.

If they open with 40 million dollars, that could be amazing... because I'm not sure how well the marketing works for this movie. I don't see anyone talking about it, no youtuber reacted to its trailers...there are lot of the people who even don't know about it.

I love my comic movies but I don't think I even registered the Flash movie coming out nor watched a trailer for it. And I think a lot of people are in the same boat. Ryan Reynolds has been trolling the world as Deadpool over the last 8 years, continually gaining new fans (not to mention all the generation who were too young to get into the earlier Deadpool films in theatres who have fallen in love with the movies at Home watching but are now adults). Then look at the trailer views. Deadpool & Wolverine teaser became the most watched trailer in cinema history in 24 hours. Only 3 of the other top 10 most watched trailers have grossed less than a billion dollars (Transformers Rise of the Beasts, It (which aside from being r-rated is also a genre type that a vast section of the population will refuse to see. A lot of people just will not watch horror) and Thor: Love and Thunder (watched massively due to pre-existing Avengers and Thor interest but lackluster reviews and poor repeat viewings probably had a big impact). So with this in mind I think it's in with a good shot of billion dollar club. Might even displace Joker as the top r-rated.

Great Video. In my opinion, a limited series is a just a huge film, that has been stretched out into 6 to 10 episodes of television. That's it. I really don't see how they can come up with a season 2. Anything is possible. But, just because you have the power or right to do something, doesn't mean you should. Chernobyl was a great Limited series. They cleaned up at the emmys in 2019. Did it mean that it needed to transform into a regular series of television? To me? NO. Beef was a great limited series. They cleaned up at the emmys in 2023. Did it mean that it needed to transform into a regular series of television? To me? NO. These shows were good for what it was, a one-off. They didn't have anymore source material to go off of, in order to continue into future seasons of television. If the heads at Disney really wanted to turn this into a 8 to 10 season of television, they could've taken a page from STARGATE. Stargate came out with a film and 3 years later, they followed up with one of the greatest scifi series on the planet, Stargate SG-1. But, that has to be something that is thought out, well before planning the Shogun series. Again. Anything is possible. But, would it be any good, if they were to get 2 or more seasons of Shogun? I don't think so. And, there is no guarantee that Shogun will win Best Limited Series, like Chernobyl or Beef. So, let's not put the cart before the horse. I say, no to a 2nd season of Shogun.

Great list! Lakeith would be my #1 from that list, but I’d also like to throw out Ben Foster who I think is really underrated but always makes an impact when he makes an appearance.

Season 1 did NOT have a definitive ending, it was full of foreshadowing of what Tokugawa will do after becoming Shōgun. For example, before performing seppuku, Yobushige says Tokugawa is only interested in his own power, not the realm - you are the same conniving hypocrite as the rest of us. They don’t have to FIND a story, the actual history is much more compelling than what James Clavell mashed together. Season 2 will show Tokugawa’s character arc as he turns on those who made his rise to Shōgun possible for no other reason than to eliminate all threats to his power.

OMG! You people in the comments don’t know nothin about nothin when it comes to making movies. First of all, when directors cast an actor for a role, physical resemblance isn’t the top priority. What matters most is acting chops. Then the actor works on mannerisms, the way they talk, walk. Etc. Physical resemblance is actually like 3rd or 4th on the list of priorities when casting an actor to portray an actual person.

the only few points that could have done better are... Kora looks tired all the time throughout her fight, we don't see her and Dunnar developed a romantic relationship. The trans charactor was cringe. the could've put more action for the robots... it took too long for him to fight and he fought only like 2 mins. The rebel's army showed up wayyyyyyy too late Overall it was the best movies i've watch on Netflix so far

Your numbers are way off. Star Trek TNG was approx 7x23 =161 or less than 160 episodes + seven years of Deep Space Nine, Voyageur, Enterprise + TOS equals about 640 sub 48 minute hours. Squeezed into a 4000 - 6000 hour disk. Think of adding all your favourite sitcoms when growing up and you may fill a disk.

Favorite vs best... my daughter is a singer. Adele is a singer. Daughter singing brings me the most joy and happyness hearing her voice and is my favorite singer. But she has no where near the singing of adele. Still would rather see her than Adele.

The movie was great. Really cool seeing the Polynesian culture represented as a whole on the big screen. Hearing music I grew up with was awesome....but it ended well. Didn't need a part 2. If they were to explore another island with a new character and story than I'm all for it, other than that...neh lol. Edit : Still will watch bc I am poly and also I have nieces and nephews who love the movie so... There's that.

rebel moon is a very bad movie full of absurd situations and hilarious dialogues, Netflix should immediately cancel this saga and Snyder should rethink his career, stop wanting to copy Star Wars and return to zombies, at least that one it was more entertaining
