I have to say that the idea of a "tarantinoverse" sounds kinda cool. Having cliff booth to come back for this story tells me that some other things could happen or have happened in the world of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Cliff was such a cool character and watching him in a more standalone adventure in theory sounds cool.

There's so many places he could go after 'Once a upon a Time in Hollywood', but I feel like that was his masterpiece, he can't really top that. Honestly, I think he should not over think this and just make a kick ass 70s/80s style action film. I heard somewhere he thought of remaking the first Rambo? Something like that would be epic.

Not really. The reason why he considers Kill Bill 1 & 2 as one film is not because it's a sequel but because it's not. It's one movie that ended up being split into two because it just turned out too long. That wouldn't be the case with Kill Bill 3, that would be a seperate film and it would count.

And I really call BS on the 10th being his final film. He casually brought up the idea in an interview as a funny thought, the media ran wild with it, and ever since he's never really said it would be his last. He just hasn't corrected anyone from saying his 10th is his last. Like the guy who has his crew chant "we love making movies" before each shot is going to give up making movies? Unless there's some physical ailment keeping him from doing it that we don't know about or his audience fully turns on him, that dude's going to keep making movies.

This is great news… “The movie critic“ sounded like a terrible idea. So let’s hope he goes out with something better. I also think he’s not at the height of his powers… His first two or three movies were much better than what he’s doing now. So it’s good that he’s being reflective and wanting to make something different. Wouldn’t it be fun if he made a horror movie… I don’t mean some stupid monster movie I’m talking about his “shining” or “Rosemary’s baby“ intellectually viable. But the news that he’s not making the movie critic is just great. And you are right, he may retire for several years, but he will have a comeback. He’s too much of an ego not to.

You know what this means right ? He had to submit the script to the studios before shooting and they didn’t deliver the budget he wanted for the movie because I’m thinking truth be told as someone who went to the theaters when his last film came out. I don’t think Sony pictures recouped on ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’. Nor do Sony anticipate this new film based on the script would do the same. So he’s either going to strap it or try to make revisions in the manuscript for the budget so he can begin shooting.

I think he made the right choice for him. I also believe this movie would of have been able to compare/contrast Kael and Margolds work. I can only guess that it would mainly be about Margolds work and a 1977 movie action drama both were reviewing. It would of been a movie within a movie and some Taxi Driver or even B movie wouldve been shown whilst those two were at odds with each othhers contrasting styles, a love of QT past and Hollywood's movie height...again his use of Tate's character in his last movie, she was unrelated to Pitt/ DeCaprio's story. Just my thoughts...this would be a personal soulful way to say goodbye unfortunately he might be looking for a Pulp Fiction 2...too hard to achieve. Screw fans...go with your artistic eye...
