I’m a bit disappointed in hot toys for their decision on young Barry. Purely from a collectibility standpoint, he’s the second lead in the film essentially. If we buy Keaton’s Batman and Supergirl along with regular flash, there’s no way of completing the set. I wonder what else they’ll cancel in the future!

Even thought they have never officially been canceled, the Shazam and The Vulture hot toys were announced but have yet to release after several years with no updates

This worries me because what if they announce a figure that I am interested in but no one else are and they decide to cancel it.

This is also a strategy that will thin out flaky collectors. They don’t care about flaky collectors or collectors that think, “Oh I’ll get it later or when it’s discounted on Sideshow.” Nowadays things go to waitlist and Hot Toys makes lesser batches. We’re now in the “you want it, then you need to preorder and commit” era.

Definitely not the first figure to get cancelled during production. Cyborg got canceled. Only when ZSJL was released, they reconsidered and released it. I think this is a stretch. Pre-orders might’ve been non-existent.

Glad to see you talk about Hot Toys here also 🙂 I've seen man of steel -figure on the table for example. I'm a collector myself. Especially Batman. I have 35+ figures at the time. Beautiful art would I say... Keep up, John! 💪

The fact that they finished some means they're gonna be super valuable if somebody gets their hands on one.

@@movieguru23 yeah I’m still convinced in the next 10 years a ton of merchandise from the This is It Michael Jackson area show will come out. He died so close to the show it seem impossible shirts, hats, bags etc weren’t produced

I can't wait til they replace ezra millers flash so we don't have to talk about Ezra Miller anymore lol😅

Hope SHF is next with cancelling theirs from a few weeks ago. Companies should be stronger about cancelling individuals with a major criminal background

Previews/proto and pre-orders are far different. When they make available for pre-order, companies take your money. Hot toys is committed to making said product at that stage. They have made a ton of prototypes they have never committed to making but canceling a green lit product is newer territory. I did hear a long time ago there may have been another instance of canceling, but I can't confirm what it was or when.

This honestly read like a story that was a year too late upon first glance. With that said, I would think there's more of a market for the BatFlash suit than we're being led to believe.

I guarantee they did it because not that people pre ordered it so they knew the blowback would be minimal.

Was a fan of the movie didn't think he would be good in the role but I liked him in ZSJL and The Flash but Ezra is a terrible person so I'm not shocked

The only person where I'm not sad that Robert won't get their Hot Toy.

I know it's not popular but I still enjoyed The Flash movie. Was a fun film and despite all the controversy I thought Ezra did a good job especially the scenes with Barry and his mother and I loved seeing both Affleck and Keaton get one last go as Batman.

lol respect!!!!! and did you not know he changed his pronouns back to he/him from they/them not to long ago.....we should respect everyones pronouns or identity depsite issues we may have with them, i really hope ezra's doing good with all that nonsense made up and hope he got help or is getting the help he needed cause he really has Talent and i really loved his barry allen just movie wasnt as good as justice league version of his flash but still loved movie it was fun and emotional and thought while some things could of definately been better it was still a solid 8.5/10 film for me and hope people that watched it or hasnt watched it give a nonbiased review and and an honest one cause underneath some issues it really was a solid film

Well compared to the regular Flash Hot Toy why the hell would you want this stupid ass young Barry Allen Flash costume? It’s the same thing with the homemade Spider-Man suit from Homecoming, who the hell would want that thing? It’s just ugly and unappealing, I would never want those things on my shelf, because putting it plainly they just look bad, and so it makes sense to me because unless you’re someone who likes crappy looking retro outfits nobody was gonna want it

Regarding the Sakaarian Iron Man, I wonder if the reason there wasn’t a lot of demands for it was because people did not like What If as a whole. The show has its moments but I see nobody talk about it and while I liked it, it practically feels like a throwaway show that was made just to make content for Disney+. Does anyone in the comments feel the same?

Ezra miller should be in prison and banned from hollywood permanently. Other more prominent actors/actresses have been blacklisted for less. He was the worst flash ever anyway, he made barry allen look like an coward addict who needed his next fix.

Ezra strangled one person, through a chair at another, and has been accused of both breaking and entering and grooming. Do not compare these people and act like one crime is just as bad as the others.
