I saw Frank Sinatra live 60 years ago I'm Chicago, my friend got us tickets and we had great seats close up. It was and is the best concert I ever attended. I have been a Sunatrs fan since I was a young girl. I have CD", of all.his hits. I gave seen everyone of his movies and like to listen to him in my car when I have a long ride. His voice is spectacular and I loved all of his movies also. I still have his music, even though he is gone. What a guy, what a voice. Still love him.

He can be made to look and sound like him. The only issue is the fact that Sinatra was pretty thin in his youth. Maybe the movie will be about him in his later years. I just wish we could see a different actor do the role, just to freshen things up. But I guess Leo is Scorsese’s muse or whatever. I don’t think Jennifer is a great choice. But I can definitely see her looking a bit like Ava with proper hair and makeup.

Bohemian Rhapsody is the movie that broke me. I really loved it in the theaters and thought it was crazy how this band came together and what all they did. It changed the way I looked at the business. At life. Everything. So when I learned as people like me dug deeper that nothing in that movie ever actually happened. I just couldn't bring myself to care about musical biopics anymore. They're all the same movie about a magical nobody that impresses one guy, blows up, parties too much and ruins their life, but brings it back last second and proves they're the legend we know them as today. None of it is ever based on true events.

OMG! You people in the comments don’t know nothin about nothin when it comes to making movies. First of all, when directors cast an actor for a role, physical resemblance isn’t the top priority. What matters most is acting chops. Then the actor works on mannerisms, the way they talk, walk. Etc. Physical resemblance is actually like 3rd or 4th on the list of priorities when casting an actor to portray an actual person.

To be honest, I think it's time for scorcese to retire. Casting DiCaprio to play Sinatra will be the worst decision. The fact that scorcese thinks DiCaprio should be in everything is ridiculous. It makes him one of the most inconsistent directors of our time. Yes, Leo is a great actor, but he looks nothing like Sinatra lol. Look at what Ridley Scott did with Napoleon, casting Phoenix was the worst decision he made. 😂😂😂Cast an unknown actor in the role for crying out loud. An actor that looks at least like the character. The fact that Hollywood still gives Scott and Scorcese room to make movies after their recent garbage leaves me flabbergasted.

I’d give Leo a chance, but wonder if he would use his real voice? I’m not sure if he can sing but maybe take vocal lessons? Kevin Spacey took vocal lessons when he played Bobby Darin in Beyond the Sea back in 2004 and sang all of the songs himself in the movie and the soundtrack. Only difference is that Kevin was already a stage theatre veteran and already a great singer. (A role that executives actually wanted Leo to play at the time because Kevin was already older than Bobby Darin lived). I don’t think Leo has that background but maybe he’ll surprise us or just lip sync. Lol. As long as he can portray Sinatra the right away. Either way, I feel like Scorsese knows what he’s doing.

This seems like a love fest over Sinatra video but if Scorsese does the film I hope he doesn't go that way. Sinatra through Sammy Davis Jr under the bus in hopes to JFK to come to his house for some event and it lead to a falling out with Dean Martin. It is also believed that it was at one of his parties that Monroe met JFK, side note he cut Monroe off from his circle of friends when she was having drug problems. He also reported her mob connections. He was no saint.

DiCaprio peaked with Gilbert Grape and Sinatra led a...problematic life. I wonder how honest this pic would actually be. DiCaprio has led an equally problematic life.

Martin Scorsese wouldn't shy away from some of the problematic moments of Frank Sinatra's life trust me this is the same man who directed Raging Bull they didn't shy away from Jake LaMotta's problematic life at all in the slightest the dived right into it.

I literally don’t like Leo DiCaprio to be Frank Sinatra. I would rather prefer either Seth MacFarlane or Chris Pine because they looked like him and they act like him.

I'm tired of Martin and Leo collaboration. It's getting old. How about Timothée Chalamet. He's shown that he can sing and dance in Wonka. The only problem is that he's currently filming a biopic of Bob Dillon. I doubt that he would do another biopic.

Right, Tom Holland is playing Fred Astaire too, isn’t he? Young actors can potentially bring justice to music biopics, Austin Butler is a great example. However, since Timothee is playing Bob Dylan, I feel the audience might not appreciate him taking on two musician roles - the argument of actors taking on too many similar roles would feel redundant in my opinion.

DiCaprio has gotten fat… he doesn’t look anything like Frank Sinatra. Of course he could diet. Is Marty too old to make a movie like this? It certainly has possibilities. Marty is passed his prime and so is Leonardo. But it’s not impossible. I’d rather see a movie about Frank Sinatra done by a younger Director and an unknown. Like Austin Butler became Elvis… Can Leonardo really become Frank Sinatra?

The movie being made by a younger director and an unknown is riskier for a beloved figure like Frank Sinastra than having established talent that is past its prime.

Di Caprio is not a good idea. He doesn't even look the part nor even look at all like how Sinatra was built. Is he going to sing??? When us the bio picture taking place at what point in his life
