It’s funny how some of the comments are people saying that it’s a ripoff of “Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends”, just because it’s a movie about imaginary friends. Years ago Jim Henson had a tv show called “The Secret Life of Toys”, in which when the children left the room the toys would come to life. This was in 1994. Disney/PIXAR released “Toy Story” in 1995. I don’t recall a single person complaining and we all know how that turned out. Stop being CYNICAL and go see the movie for what it is NOW and NOT for what you think it resembles BACK THEN.

I feel like I’m nuts, because when I first saw the marketing for this movie I thought it looked like a pile of shit, but then out of nowhere the more I saw that trailer it suddenly started to grow on me, I feel like I just kinda gave into the madness or something and now I’m actually pretty interested in seeing it, it’s also coming out at a very convenient time because it’s sandwiched between 2 big action movies (Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes & Furiosa) And so amidst the sci fi action environment that we’re gonna be in for a lot of May this’ll give families with little kids a bit of an alternative to go see, I’m not quite sure how Garfield is gonna do in those same circumstances but I think IF is probably really gonna thrive during May

This movie has a ton of great talent and Ryan Reynolds knows how to promote in social media. I expect it will do well but we are about three weeks before it is released so a lot could happen.

This is one of my most anticipated films this year and i’m 26

I really wanna be able to see this soon, I think it'd be well-written with charm. ☺️ I'm really hoping it succeeds and people like it. Whether it'd have a big or small fandom later on

Even with the talents of John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds, IF is going to struggle since it's an original film. If it does well, then good for them.

I will say this. While the trailers for IF are not the best trailers out there, this movie still looks better than Harold and the Purple Crayon with Zachary Levi. I watched that trailer and was creeped out by a grown man wearing a baby onesie.

I’d never head of this until now…that’s the problem.
