Thanks for visiting my channel. Your interest in what I'm doing here honors me. I have a long history with video. When I was a kid, I was lucky to have access to an 8MM video camera. They used to call them "Camcorders." I have recorded hundreds of hours of video as a kid back in the '80s and 90s. I don't know how I pulled it off, but I made many a video with titles, music, and effects.
Years passed, and my love for video took a back seat in my life. Raising a family can change priorities. My kids are all grown now, and I rolled the dice by making a channel about OBS Studio, which is fantastic software.
Livestreaming is absolutely fun and exciting, and I thought I'd make tutorials helping you make your stream super fun for your viewers. It is an honor to serve my community, and I promise to continue.

i tried downloading, unfortunately i cant get it to work, i used the installer. the demo is fantastic, but the program seems to not be working and i have full up to date software. /o\
Any advice, pls..? When seeing up 'audio' I don't have any option to set desktop audio. It only say 'Disabled". I can't change it. I'm using MacBook 2020, Do I miss any internal hardware?

Hi I worked along with this video and it did work great! But then I had to reinstall obs and did it the same way but now the move transition plug in does not work anymore or at least it does not show up anymore in obs. I reinstalled it, and I still get the "unistall.exe" but in obs it´s not showing up. You have any idea what I can do?
meaning I just have the normal scenetransitions

Hi Scott I gave entered the world of live streaming and came upon youe tutorial on lower thirds and followed your instructions. The lower thirds dock opens in OBS as it should however when I slide the lower third 1 switch it stays red and does not change to blue. The main switch is activated and the blue outline is active in the main settings window. Can you help?

How do you do this on Mac? you can't save a .lua file, ( 3:19 renaming the txt file doesn't do anything) and I also can't save anything into the scripts folder, and OBS doesn't even recognise the .txt files on Mac. Anyone have any idea how this can be done on Mac??
Grass Valley works with AVI, but if you have a fade in/out... it doesn't work. Which is why I'm here ROFL
GoPro Cineform just straight-ass does not work. It either A) Creates an unfinished video with NAME0000000000000. mov naming or B) Creates multiple unfinished videos like NAME000000001, NAME000000002 etc. It also still has the same problem of not showing my animation fading in. I guess I'll try DNxHR since I ddin't know that had alpha. ...It's basically Cineform except the alpha channel is a lie so that sux too.

I was having a problem with this plugin (I was getting the red box around the name) until I entered *something* the Info (second) line... it doesn't matter what's in that line, it just has to be there.

you probably won't see this but I got it downloaded then when I search in the files I can only fin stuff like the control panel. this is probably because past me deleted davinci resolve because of the problem you showed in this video but when I look in all the places on my pc I can't actually find davinci resolve espite it saying its installed on the installer

Can you help, after doing all the settings the lower 3rd is still not active it's showing red, not blue
I can't see my gif image when I upload into the software (not obs) does it have to be a set pixel size to import to the 3d software? Great tool though. I have an idea for a channel on Rumble and KZread to send the same material but days apart and longer video versions to Rumble until my subs go up on KZread for monetisation.
The GIF format has a built-in loop counter. So the file doesn’t get bigger if you choose to loop it for example 5x. It just replays the same single loop 5 times and then stops. If you’re streaming at 30 fps then I’d recommend to keep the fps also at 30. Those additional frames will be cut anyway.
Help, i buy new laptop ( new it's very good"), so i install all favor programs OBS, and on the new laptop (😢), the obs update( 😂), and II need NDI( like a previous). But no work ndi!!! Some say back to ndi 4, ndi 5... nothing, the ndi say" the format is no foud "...??????!!!! Help😢

Wow, it works. Did not expect that. I had to reboot my phone though, the ip address it gave me was really weird so I just turned off my phone and turned it back on and it gave me a good ip address.
Hello i have obs 30.1.2 and it doesn't have select colour under the background remover after the feather blend, Please where can i get that.
My lower third 1 is showing red while the main settings is showing blue, what do I do?

It is now 2024, and I just found this tutorial. The interface of the software is very similar to DaVinci Resolve Fusion page. Resolve is the editing software I use. I'll try Magic and see if it helps.
