Thanks Peter. When I create these videos some do well and some don't. Crap video performance can take a toll on you spiritually. When I receive comments like yours it like a spiritual jolt. It energizes me. What I'm trying to tell you is your comment has power. It motivates me. It knocks me out of my funk. I appreciate you bud.

oh wow this would be awesome when playing games where the streamer likes to do voices when reading the characters dialogue!!! i definitely need to try this.

Hello. I was wondering how one can have text scroll up to a picture, then go above the picture and continue scrolling, without scrolling over the picture... so it would be like 2 scrolls, one spaced at the bottom, and one spaced above the picture that has the scrolling text from the bottom handed off to it?

Place two text sources with the same text (eventually read from a file) on the scene. Place your picture on the scene and add a color source behind the picture, but over the text sources. The color source should be the same height as the picture, but cover the whole width of the canvas. Adjust the width of the text sources to the width of the canvas. Crop the text source above the picture so that the bottom of the text source comes together with the bottom of the picture and the color source. Add some empty lines before the text of the text in the bottom text source. Add the same amount of empty lines before the text in the upper text source. Now add empty lines at the top of the text in the upper text source so that the text when scrolling disappears behind the picture and emerges above the picture. That should give you the effect you're looking for. Have a nice day.
