This video aims to help creators who have trouble with the Lower Thirds with Dockable Control Panel tool. Many have complained that the plugin is complicated, does not work for Mac or Windows 11, and constantly throws permission issues for PC users. The Move Transition plugin is different. This plugin was programmed by Exeldro, who makes quality. Animating lower thirds with this software will solve all your problems. I wish you good fortune with your live streams.

Great video, thanks mate. Just to let you know, 1000 ms = 1 second. Therefore when you set the timer for 2000 ms, it's not about 3 seconds as you state in your video, it's 2 seconds. The programmers are so precise with the timing by putting it in milliseconds, so that you can be in your settings.

Something I've played around with with those Move transitions (on the scenes, not sources) is using the "curve" function. Positive/negative values affect whether the object curves away or towards the center of the screen (I forget which way, but play around with it. It's obvious to see) so you can add a subtle curve, or a full on sharp swoop. So you can play with your lower thirds - either coming in from the bottom, or the side, or come from outside the top corners and swoop in to your lower third position (or wherever). Also, you can expand or shrink the source (lower third here); hit the "transform" to get the size locked in, and then shape it to the size and placement you want on the screen and hit that 2nd "transform" spot. Have it appear from the left - stay on screen for however long, and then have it leave on the right. You can even add a *serious* curve so it can get back to the starting position all while staying off screen (without the curve, it'll zip back to the initial position through the screen) I have a title screen with the font coming into screen from one direction, hangs there, and then leaves a different way - while another image curve zooms in from "far away". I am just scratching the surface of this plugin, but there's so much you can do with it!

Using this great tutorial, I added four Move Transition points and I was able to have a logo png continuously scroll across the top of the screen to provide some action while waiting for our Zoom meeting to start. Point 1 was offscreen right. Point 2 was the same latitude, offscreen left. Point 3 was offscreen left and also ABOVE the screen. Point 4 was offscreen above and to the right of the screen. The logo scrolls right to left across the screen (1 to 2), then returns to the right out of sight: offscreen 2 straight up to 3, above the screen over to 4, offscreen down to 1. These transitions are only 10 milliseconds each (the fastest allowed) so there’s minimal offscreen time (40 milliseconds). When matched with scrolling text at the bottom on the screen, it creates a neat effect. I got lucky and was able to get the logo to scroll at the same speed on the first try. (Move Transition Duration 50,000ms and horizontal speed of the text is 160.)

Hello Scott, long time viewer and love the energy you bring! Scott I'm having the hardest time trying to implement this tutorial using Multiple sources. Let me explain: I have 2 distinct Sources in OBS, will call them source "X" and the other one "Y" . I've been successful at making Source "X" do what your tutorial teaches. But what I would like to see is to have Source "X" play and hide and then play Source "Y" also play and hide and then have it loop back to Source "X". My current results are that I'm getting overlays with my X and Y sources. I've tried playing with the Start Delay on Source Y so so as let Source X start and complete its In/out move animation and giving it enough time for source Y to then start. Here are the current settings and times i'm using for each Move Effect, NOTE that all are using 1000 Custom Duration. I show a total of 4 Effect Filters label Move 1, Move 2, Move 3, Move 4: Move 1 Source X = Start Delay of "Zero"___End Delay 5000___Next Move 2. Move 2 Source X =Start Delay of "Zero"___End Delay Zero___Next Move 3. Move 3 Source Y =Start Delay of "5000"___End Delay Zero___Next Move 4. Move 4 Source Y =Start Delay of "Zero"___End Delay Zero___Next Move 1. If anyone out there can help me I would greatly appreciated. NOTE: I could just accomplish this via creating a quick png movie in FinalCutPro and just bring in the "Media" source in and call it quits, but knowing me I know I need to figure this out and its driving me crazy. Thanks everyone.
