This tool is designed to allow you to select the messages. The thinking is that you don't want to show everything. Not all comments are worthy for lower third placement.

Folks are having problems with facebook. This tools is designed so that you select the comment that you wish to respond to. So yes, you must select the message to have it appear in the browser source. I see you point because if you get a low volume of comments it would be super cool if they all just showed up in the lower third.

Hi Scott, I love your tutorials! I like Twidget but I am wondering if I am the only person getting these blurry and/or pixelated images and borders. Seems like it happened on your end as well. A program glitch? I tried fixing it with CSS (image-resolution: from-image 300dpi; AND image-rendering: high-quality;) but I haven't been able to make it work. Maybe a quick tutorial update addressing this issue? I know blurry/pixelated avatars is a common problem for streamers when using some apps/plugins.

FUTGOL, the avatar is hard coded with a very small dimension. I think it's around 70px by 70px. It's tiny. If you use CSS to make it larger it gets fuzzy. I know of no way to make it larger without making it fuzzy for this reason. I wish he coded the image at like 400px by 400px.

Thanks again Scott for another amazing tutorial. This feature works great for KZread; however, the comments not coming through on Facebook Live. It's like no matter what I did, nothing seemed to work. I tried using the new livestream Producer window url, the pop-out chat url and even scheduling the livestream and getting the link in advance of going live. In all instances, the comments just would not show up in Twidget. It has me baffled.

@@ScottFichter I noticed Meta made some changes to Facebook Live. If you click on Go Live. Then select Create Live Video. Now scroll to the bottom on the left and choose Interactivity and then Graphics. In the Graphics drop down menu, pick any graphics package. Now on the bottom right it reads: "If you're using OBS (version 25+), drag this link directly into your software to automatically load the Graphics URL". So I'm wondering if this was Meta's attempt at achieving the same thing as Twidget, but messed up how the software functions with Facebook Live in the process.

I got all the way to the loading on twidget and it just keeps loading any idea why thank you

Scott!!! How do you stream OBS itself with out getting a mirror effect. Doesn't seem to be an option in window capture. Was gonna record or go live and do a "behind the scenes" type thing. Also a video breakdown of you editing your content would be awesome!!! Thanks again!!!

Restream, no KZread and Facebook, I think yes.

Seems like Twidget doesn't work anymore. It just sits at "Loading..." after entering your live URL and never connects. Started happening a couple of weeks ago and it looks like the project is no longer being developed. We need to find something new that can do this.

Scott, I tried sign up for the Free animated 3D Subscribe Buttons page and after putting in my first name and email address I clicked on the "Confirm Email & Get The Videos" button I get the following error message. "Please match the requested format" Did I miss the enrollment? I even added my last name just incase and I get the same thing. I do have an "AOL" email account.

Could it be that your email format was not name@name.com? Just try it one more time and if it fails, I'll send the link to ya. To answer your question, no the sub button give-a-way will last forever. What I'm doing is building an email list so I can reach out to my homies with more give-a-ways and other cool stuff.

the network access is just for your firewall, but yeah, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason why this 3rd party app needs to have access to your google account. you're using stream keys/tokens like any other app to have access to your stream. has absolutely NOTHING to do with your google account. this app is a total security risk and i would totally advise to avoid. sorry scott, love your videos but i won't be using this app. too bad too, could totally be handy without the google account access.

Yeah, there's something going on with the software. I don't think the developer is going to fix it.
