This is info on the red flag - Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA) is a term used to describe applications that, while not malicious, are generally considered unsuitable for business networks. In otherwords it was never a specific virus it was due to the fact that the software COULD BE and issue. I think it's Sophos being overly protective. I'm almost positive the software is clean.

Hey Scott! Is it possible to stream from OBS to both Twitch & KZread at the same time, without having to use Twitch & KZreads UI every time you wanna start a new stream? Ive just gotten very attached to the "Manage broadcast" menu, but as I understand it, if I use RTMP, I will have to first go into KZread, create a stream, enter title/description WITHIN KZread, copy the key and then start the stream from OBS, correct? To me this just sounds so overly complicated just to get a stream going if I will have to go to every platform to generate new keys every time I want to change the stream title/description. *In short, can I use the Multiple RTMPS Plugin (or any other software solution that doesnt rely on 3rd party providers like restream) without letting go of the manage broadcast menu to conveniently enter my stream desc/title?*

If I remember correctly I withheld my review. Because I wanted it to work first. Everyone has a slightly different configuration mine was a little more difficult to get working. But I'm happy to report it works great. I'm streaming to KZread and twitch simultaneously. Now I'm looking for a video for KZread subscriber alert while streaming. Last night I got two subs while streaming and I didn't know it. Interaction with chat is one of the most important things. Thanks for all your hard work Scott. See you in the next video.

Great video tutorial! Thanks Scott. :) I have set up two targets, one for Facebook and the other for KZread. In Settings under the Stream tab what settings should be set up in there? As before trying to set up multiple streams within OBS I had the settings in the Stream tab pointing towards Restream.

Hi Scott, can you show us how to set different scenes per target using Aitum Vertical and Multi RTMP please? For example a simultaneous stream, KZread stream without overlays if you wish to capture raw gameplay compared to a sponsored Twitch broadcast which will have many additional scenes for overlays and alerts. If you were streaming to 4 or more platforms at once, would you encode with the Ryzen 5900x or the nvidia 2070 super? I know gpu encoding is always better but in this situation my CPU is higher end, while my gpu is mid/low tier at this point.

What version of OBS were you using when you added the Multi stream plugin? Currently version 27.2.2 and 27.2.4 doesn't support it. The latest version 28 supports it but it doesn't have SDI support. Need to know what version actually supports this plugin.

That's a damn good question. You can but you'll have to bring them in as a browser source. Initial setup will be a pain because you'll have to start streaming first. I was initially going to recommend twidget but I don't think it allows for multiple connection. Take a look at it. The software is next level and free. twidgetapp.web.app/#about

Yes you can. You can use 2 streamlabs or stream obs accounts, one for your twitch and second for youtube. I have it that way.

I like getting the VP09 code for my KZread live streams on the vod but I'd like to stream to another platform and can't use 1440p. So I added the RTMP Multiple outlets plugin into my obs folder. But I don't have anything like your describing that would be in the dock section etc. I'm pretty versed in obs & stream elements, So I'm stumped. Maybe it' something I'm missing. My set up is I have obs installed on my D drive and not on my C drive where windows is located. I did that because of a space issue on drive c. I like what you bring to the table & is always informative.

NOW... when I am LIVE on Mixcloud ... I want to let me Facebook viewers know that I am on LIVE on Mixcloud... so I want them to see me and not hear my audio cause Facebook will shut down the stream immediately cause of copyright. Hello, I am looking for a solution for my problem. I just unlocked the tiktok key for obs. So I live on twitch and tiktok at the same time. But in my tiktok lives, I would like to put my camera on the top and my gameplay on the bottom, but since I'm on obs, I can't put the resolution & sources in the right place. Okay... but where can I find an OBS 27 compatible version of the Multiple RTMP outputs plugin? Because some people can't upgrade for various reasons.

My only issue with this plugin, as well as all restream services. When streaming to twitch via one of these options, it doesn't let me set the vod audio track (which removes my music from the vods/clips).. Ran into this on streamlabs multi option recently and got a completely muted stream. If they would incorporate that feature in this plugin, it would be a complete game changer.

I have tried to update to version 28, which added the plugin, but when I went back to an older version OBS crashed on start up lol. I just need to know what version actually works on this one lol.

Thanks, Scott! It's a nice helpful tool. I was able to multistream test just right with three new channels (one for each platform) to meet the right bitrate for a proper 60 fps stream experience since my own internet upload is at 20mbps.

hi while using stream key in facebook, after a stop of OBS will stop facebook stream and unable to start with the same stream key. But in youtube, this issue is solved by events.

I believe it was just total stream count. Nvidia's artificial limit so you have to buy the professional cards. I swear that datasheet's been buried since i last read it. I'd try to benchmark it unless you want to.

You will find the limitis in the matrix here (they raised the limit from 2 to 3 on the consumer gpus btw): developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new#Encoder But there exists a patch to get rid of the limit completely: github.com/keylase/nvidia-patch So that should not be an issue any more 🤗

Very good. What comes CPU/GPU usage remember to run OBS as admin always, it will drop CPU/GPU usage alot! And if you didnt like this video, then like my comment ;)

Scott, I love your channel and have learned some things from watching it, but most of it has been Windows junk. I gave up Windows for the most part ww years ago and went feet first into the Mac family. You mention Mac now and again, but very little. I would give anything if you could take that knowledge you have gathered and explain how it can wort in Mac platforms. Mtgrizzly52, my journey has been the opposite. I started out with Mac and switched to PC. The switch to Mac started when I took my Macbook Air to the Mac store to get a quote on a new battery, and they came back with a price of $100. I decided to walk out of the store without getting the laptop fixed. I then got home, hopped on eBay, found the battery, ordered it, and installed it at home for $20. A 500% markup on a repair tweaked me emotionally. Everything that made me a Mac customer was crushed after understanding how much they wanted for the repair. The future for me was clear. I saved up my money, researched the best PC parts I could afford, and built my PC tower from the ground up. Future repairs will be easy and cost effective, and many parts of my computer will be reused, like the case, the power supply, and the graphics card. Yes, Windows 10 is a pain in the ass, yes iOS is way better, but when it comes to hardware, I'm willing to deal with Bill Gate's bullsh*t. I want to buy a new Mac to build tutorials for Mac users, but money is very tight. I have to spend my channel's revenue to pay bills right now. It sucks because I wanted to buy a Mini with that new chip to use ScreenFlow again. Sigh.... Special thanks to Joe Biden for the inflation.

@@ScottFichter I definitely agree on the hardware price rip off of Apple, but with the job i had, I was going through pc laptops at a rate of 1 per year. So went to Apple. My first apple was a Macbook Pro, purchased in 2011...I just retired it because I couldn't upgrade it anymore. I just got the Apple M1 MiniMac that is dressed out to enhance performance and I'm in love with it. 16 gigs of Ram - 1 Tbyte SSD HD for $1200.00. It literally screams and allows me to start live streaming classes to my disabled Vets that I teach. I sincerely hope you are able to purchase one of these little speed demons. In the meantime, I'll still be a fan of your channel and attempt to adapt what you are doing on a pc to my Mac. Take Care!

I have 43Mbs Upload, have my own RTPM server, 6 streaming platafom. I have my STREAMLABS DESKTOP set to 14,000, and everything looks great, no lags, no losses. I don`t understand why you say from 30,000, 40,000, 50,00 60,000 that could be an issue.

@@ScottFichter Facebook is included on those 6 plataforms, which requires RTMPS. I understand, many people don`t have RTMP Server, it is very easy to set it up, I am running it off my Server, and it can be run on the same gaming-streaming computer, it does not require a great computer, it has a very minimun computer consumption. You can make a video about and help others, as you do

@@ScottFichter As mentioned: 1st Nginx RTMP Server, 2nd Stunnel Proxy Server. Nginx for streaming to KZread, Twitch, Trovo, Nimo TV, and many others (I would say UNLIMETED). The major streaming platforms recieve to non secure port (1935). Stunnel for streaming to Facebook. Act as "relay", well, this is the Proxy Server Job. Facebook require RTMPS as you know, let`s say it changes from RTMP to RTMPS and ports. Require secure connection on port (443). Even, it can be streamed to many Facebook account as well. Please make a video of this, how to setup those 2 Servers. I have achieved that since facebook started the secure connection for streaming. Good luck with that, I know you will do it!

For Twitch, here is where to get the RTMP Server stream.twitch.tv/ingests/ then to get the RTMP Key/Stream Key, go to your Stream Manager>Settings>Primary Stream Key

Yeah, I downloaded .exe and then uninstalled and downloaded zip and pasted it into program files and it won't open and I can't find it in the dock list.

No the damn software does not work for FB.

The plugin doesn't work anymore and now I'm reinstalling over and over trying to remember where the lost folders are being held... I remember why I stopped using OBS. These plugins are irritating. Never had problems with this until I randomly wanted to use it again. LOL these errors erk me so bad if I can't find it I am just gonna reinstall windows and never touch SE or this plugin again. Until I remember how sweet it was using and try and use it again. I swear, so annoying how these apps are set up.

I can't believe I've been searching for info on setting up RTMP output for OBS Studio and NO ONE explains how to do it! "I'll assume you know how to do that..." WHY?! Why would you assume that? I have no idea how to set up RTMP Output and I didn't learn it here. Thanks anyways...
