@@ScottFichter agreed....how cool would it be if they let you add your own image to each button.. and the layout needs to be more customizable....rather than forcing you to limited and predesignated dock sizes. Let's hope they do!

Live streaming is literally risk mitigation, stream deck for your scenes works very well, I use one now makes things easier to manage

Hi. Is there an option to have OBS stream at a specific time? I want a playlist to play automatically at 10:30 am.

For that you're looking at running a 24/7 RTMP relay server. Doing that is outside the scope of OBS, and OBS Support. Take a look at nginx-rtmp, or the RED5 server. Both can be set up to stream to a destination, pulling from a pool of dead-file videos or just sending an image blank, then interrupt and swap over when an incoming live feed is received. Again, far outside the scope of OBS Support so we cannot help you with it, but technically possible with enough geekery.

As a test, I'm going to include it in this reply to see if it survives: First, I like the idea of having different scenes marked more clearly in the scenes panel. Color coding and sorting them in groups would go a long way to making it look neater. It seems to me if there was a way to hide some scenes (like the way you can hide audio sources in the Audio Mixer panel, that could help as well. You could hide the nested scenes or anything else depending on what you needed for that particular session. Right now, I am trying to use Touch Portal as a possible solution for scene switching, but even if I did not use the OBS plug-in solution you have in mind, I would still donate some money to the cause. Supporting OBS developers, including "very famous" ones is important! As far as your suggestion of getting a list of those who comment in the stream so you can roll credits at the end of a stream... It is good, but I would maybe try to incorporate your other idea into the mix and perhaps be able to toggle on or off the options in the plugin or script settings. For instance, the script could collect the screen names of everyone in chat who commented. And then, the script could compare those names to a streamer-defined list of screen names. When there is a match, it would fire off a "welcome" message in the chat and trigger a stream event. At the end of the show, all of the names collected would roll in the credits. You would need to make sure the script would only do the interactive part once -- when the "VIP" person in chat made their first chat comment. You don't want it to trigger every time they sent some chat text. Then, you could even hook it into OBS and Touch Portal or something to not only trigger an on-screen event, but it could also trigger a LED RGB effect and change your lighting. Then, even if the streamer is not looking at the stream or even the chat, they will know that a VIP member was in chat and made their first comment there. Anyway, I hope you are feeling better. Even a Scott who is under the weather has more energy that most 16-year-olds I know. Keep steady, and keep the content flowing...

@@MookieMc Thanks pal. The scroll credit idea is old school would be cool as heck but it's not a priority as of late. I absolutely love the hotkey on comment application. Yes, when a match occurs the auto key press can only happen one time.

Why do not smartphones or tablets and set up these shortcuts by using a plug-in, there's some do this out there?
