Your videos are so helpful Scott and your energy and video editing style are absolutely unparalled. You are definitelty my favorite KZread channel for OBS tutorials. So out of curiosity, do you use OBS or Camtasia for all the transitions and effects in your KZread videos? For example, when you move your face on the screen, are you simply using the move source transition in OBS or is that done with Camtasia?

Hmmm... yes, masking shapes. I probably should have showed that. I just cut out the screen from the TV and then turned it black and placed it on a white background.

Another crusher video! Can you tell me what you did to shape your mask photo to fit? Would you need different mask files for each TV style?

The answer is yes, and the downloadable zip file contains a masked out TV, a screen that's been masked and a black and white mask file.

"Please do not adjust your set". LOL. Great tutorial my friend!

It depends on the effect you use. Manipulating the camera feed using the 3D filter is not bad.

Scott, what lights do you use for your background fill light. I know everyone uses something different, but the size of your location looks similar to what I'm working with and I love how your's really provides a nice, smooth, solid color across the scene.

What's up, Dave? When I started this show, I used LED lightbulbs and snuck them around behind sofas and desks. It looked killer, but when I reduced my face's size, the background always got in the way of what I was trying to show in the tutorial. I then realized a better way. I took a nice photo of the lit background and hung a green screen. I remove the background when needed with a chroma key. It won't matter when inflation forces me to live in a closet. I'll drop the screen down, remove the background, and it'll still look like I'm back in the office. I'll be skin and bones due to food shortages, but I'll still be in the office like always.

yeah look i get it was a year ago but anyone newer look at this... dont use streamfx as the person who made its is gatekeeping it for like 20 bucks a month to use it, 2 dollars be understandable but 20 a month is extaution
