A good way to avoid all of the problems with egalitarianism is to just not completely conquer enemies. Just do it the good ole American way. Overthrow the government and replace it with one more friendly to you. Then shift all the problems of getting the people to like their new way of life onto the people you just hopelessly put in power. Will this be a strong ally? No. However you can easily puppet them, and exploit them for every resource they have, in the name of DEMOCRACY!

A bit late, but federation fleet and custodian fleet have no upkeep. Mercenaries are also a good way to skip on upkeep. Meaning you can field the nano-missiles on the cheap.

I don't even do competitive MP, I just do MP with a friend, and even that is too unstable, it basically killed our stellaris nights we did weekly.

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie the one with the leaders. I’ve never had that problem. My problem is I never put in any liters and it’s just like the governors they self elect and scientist and admirals when I need them for stuff to investigate I just slam constant waves of unadmiral fleets them.

If I play Stellaris multiplayer, I ONLY do so with friends, and we always ally with each other regardless of our empires to defeat the AI empires. Mostly, though, I just play singleplayer. Much more enjoyable.

Hey I have to say this but anybody that plays stellar is console edition weirdly the neutron launchers, gigs cannons and kinetic artillery are still the best meta for console players due to the weapons not being updated since it’s no always up to date with the PC edition. You can say console edition is still living the old times

I haven't tried going crisis yet, but I just might sometime soon... I'm doing a Shroud Covenant: Eater of Worlds run right now, and because I just so happened to have genocided half of a fanatic purifier's empire, the rest of the galaxy is mad at me for purging a species... It may be time for them to realize that I can be far worse than they previously thought.

I just came to this conclusion. I was tired of micro managing engagements but with strike craft the ai used evasion tactics so i opted for it with speed and missles. A clean up force with large guns flanked from behind attempts to pick off stragglers.

I previously played EU4 and HOI4 before Stellaris. Stellaris was far easier in my opinion, everything was much more straightforward. Maybe im thinking this because i survived the hell called EU4

Personally, I think 3.6 Orion is the best version. It fixed a lot of sandbox ruining meta and things feel very balanced, I rolled back Stellaris to that version and only then did I realize how much the new updates ruined the game. I'm not sure how stable rolled back multiplayer games are... But at least singleplayer is still fun.

The reason why they got rid of individualism vs collectivism is because of debates over capitalism vs communism. Back then (and still today) people wanted to roleplay as the Soviet Union and wanted to pick the most accurate ethics and civics. This led to a lot of heated debates about whether or not the Soviet Union was a true democracy or just an autocratic dictatorship. There is actually an event you can get on a planet where you can find out that there was a civilization on it that wiped themselves out over the debate of individualism vs collectivism.

Are they science and you make they help research on planets? Whats the strategy? Also love the video, i cant wait to try multiplayer, but i have lots to leaen first! ❤

Hey strat, can you suggest to the dev that hyper relay need an encryption if ai conquer them? They need to do something to unlock our hyper relay instead being used instantly. Same as us when we got someone else relay, atleast it can stop them for a bit like ftl inhibitor.

Its better to use battleship with maximum speed and x slot with carrier computer. Why not artillery? Because it use medium distance formation instead maximum distance, they will back off when the enemy get closer instead always keep their distance like carrier computer. (Bad at kiting) So for more weapon range use admiral buff. Wep range and sublight speed is the king for 25x crisis. (Kiting meta)

Stellaris is dead to me, unfortunately. Even performance-enhancing mods can't fix the horrendous mid-late game... It was my favorite strategy. Well, back to Medieval 2, I guess
