Vancouver's Worst Drivers Dashcam - I'm just an average Vancouver driver looking to point out the terrible drivers we have in this city. I'll be posting videos showing car accidents, people being dumb behind the wheel, people having no idea how rules of the road work, pedestrians doing stupid things, and rants on things that drive me nuts about other drivers! I truly believe that Vancouver has some of the worst drivers in the country, and I hope these videos will showcase that. Love all the new laws to keep distance from cyclists and scooters but so many don't even come close to following the rules of the road. Need way more tickets issued against these cycling and scooter riders
1:01 Oh you mean the 2 cyclists that ran the red light?? in a perfect world, the cyclists would obey traffic laws.. We give our roadways that we "drivers" pay for through taxes, and HIGH gas prices, for people who think they are above the law of the road.
2:46 You can't tell from the video if that is a licence plate or an e-plate. The "Scooter" was clearly at fault, if he was an insured vehicle, then he should not have been at the edge of the road doing below the speed limit, which leads me to believe he was an electric scooter, and he should have been closer to the sidewalk.

Of all the incredibly stupid things drivers in the Lower Mainland do the worst has got to be that because nobody is willing to slow down and wait for anything, drivers will go into the oncoming lane to pass anything that obstructs them even if cars are coming directly at them. Who risks the worst type of accident, a head-on collision, because they can't wait for a nano-second?

Hey Vancouversworstdrivers, I recently purchased one and just installed it but I’m having issues with the dashcam being too sensitive to all bumps and what not in the road even my music is setting it off at the lowest settings for sensitivity. Any tips? Did I get a faulty unit? Thanks! Looking forward to submitting clips in.
Hi Derrek, I'm looking forward to seeing what you capture haha (although hopefully you stay safe). I had mine on medium sensitivity and now that I think of it it did save files fairly often. My other dashcam is on silent for notifications so I wonder if I just thought that was normal. If it's on the lowest setting I would reach out to THinkware and let them know in case they need to provide an update that lowers the sensitively. Out of curiousity did you use the promocode that I have for 5% off? I didn't see anyone use it so I just want to make sure it works.

Looks to me like he's on a pedestrian only path, riding too fast, cyclists seem to think every path is made for them to rip along on their electric bikes a break neck speed. He needs some riding lessons to boot.
I seen that coming a mile away. If you're riding a bicycle, do better. It doesn't matter who's at fault. Are you going to survive to say it's their fault? If you survive, will you be fully able bodied to say it's their fault? Word to the wise: if you're traveling unprotected, such as cycling, walking, skating, not in a vehicle, etc, your own negligence will be your demise.
This is why I’m not a fan of open windows in a moving vehicle with a pet in the vehicle.

Whenever I see drivers with their dogs leaning out the window, on their lap or in the passenger seat, I just shake my head. Those are dumb drivers!

Gotta love Vancouver. I was driving by the cop shop and watched a dude walking down the middle of the road just trying the door handles on all the parked cars to see if he could get in and steal stuff. Like a block from the police station.

Unpopular opinion: Cyclist is the architect of his own misery. If you don't slow down when passing a still-moving car, you aren't being responsible. Also, this guy is hauling ass, is that an e-bike? Yes, the driver is also an idiot. But if I'm handing out medals for stupidity, the cyclist gets the gold.
It would be almost more understandable if they were both already in the same lane & came towards each other in the same lane headon but the fact that the dashercamer is already in the lane & the SUV changes lanes, kindly with their signal on, causing the collision when they could clearly see the dashcamer is ridiculous.

Ah I guess cause the truck was there they couldn't see the car coming. I was in a car one time and my friend tried doing a similar movie, we got hit. Now when the traffic is full like that I either go right or wait for a red. Just too risky otherwise
