Speaking of Instant Karma, I was going down Highway 1 (near Dougan's Lake on the Island) and a dark Lotus passed us at high speed. Ahead was a dark SUV and as soon as the Lotus passed it, the SUV lit up like a Christmas Tree! Instant Karma!

Most people will get pulled over for something at some point in their life, we all make mistakes. However, pulling off stupid moves such as pinning it down the shoulder just doesn't make sense at all.

In my town that I left, the police pulled you over if you were a woman for no reason. I got pulled over 3 times and I didn't break any laws. Unfortunately they weren't nice police officers either.

This video makes me wish that VPD did more traffic violation enforcement. There's so much bad driving out there, it's comical. I can't even count how many times I've seen moving violations happen right in front of a cop and they don't act on it. The lack of enforcement is creating a lack of accountability for driving properly. And I'm not talking about loud cars and motorcycles (slight bias) noise violations. I mean like, not coming to a complete stop or flat out running a red, cutting off pedestrians, improper lane changes, turning from the wrong lane, etc.

Just do what some other countries do, if there is dashcam video of it, citizens can send it in and the offender will get ticketed. If people argue that you can't prove who was driving, just ticket the owner of the car. Simple.

1:28 That white "smoke" is antifreeze leaking rapidly into the engine combustion chamber and blown out the exhaust. This indicates a serious problem such as a cracked/warped head, blown head gasket, or something similar. It probably occurred just moments before and not likely he'd get very far with or without police intervention.

that guy crossing the street at 5:20 didn't even glance over at the car running the red, nor at the cop running the red to pull him over. this man just kept walking. that is the definition of desensitization to vancouver drivers.

The car at 5:25 wasn't required to stop because the pedestrian was on the other side of the Crossway. BC code allows for a car in his full momentum to continue his forward movement unless a pedestrian is half way engaged in the Crossway

Does the "BC code" allow cars to run red lights? Downloaded video + frame-by-frame playback shows the light turned fully red as the SUV passed the *4th* dashed line before the intersection.

Ya there was no karma there. If anything the person that turned in the video should be thankful because they were going 88kmph in the 50kmph zone according to their dashcam. 50kmph speed limit in a 4 lane divided hwy is ridiculous btw.

lol, the location @ 9:45 people get caught there all the time because they forget or don't know there's an RCMP Office at that intersection

2:23, I remember that time after that carjack incident in Port Coquitlam that led to a high speed police chase/pursuit that closed highway 1 east for a couple hours! That was bad and terrible! Those suspects were arrested big time and hopefully they will learn a valuable lesson about what they did.

7:25 That cop had some pretty good speed! I'm surprised the speeder actually pulled over considering how reckless his driving was beforehand. I've heard that police are not allowed to pursue unless the officer believes the suspect has committed a violent crime or is about to do so. I'm curious if the cop would've pursued had he refused to pull over.

in Delta and Surrey yellow light means keep going and red lights are all good to go. Must be a whole bunch of color blind people in the hood. Worst part is no cop to ever be found. Check out Nordel and Scott road, every one goes through the turn light when it is red and never a cop? I guess it must be taught by the driving instructors, just give it gas on orange, and floor it on a red traffic light. then there are our other bunch, that never go in the slow lane on the connector even if they are only going below the speed limit. GET OFF THE ROAD.
