If there was even just one officer enforcing traffic laws I’m sure it would make a huge difference. These drivers have gotten so bold because they know there arnt any. Look at the car flying down the bike lane and the van weaving in and out of traffic. They know they won’t be stopped. We really have to raise this issue and talk to somebody, it’s getting pretty bad.

@7:20 It's crazy how many drivers don't stop at stop signs because they assume the light is red for drivers on the main road. It's like the stop sign just becomes a green light in their eyes. I hate walking across the one in Burnaby for this exact reason.

There's NEVER a cop when you want one. Here in California, we lack enforcement also.

Usually ICBC can't accept footage only the police do and they are reluctant to do anything

Wish ICBC or VPD would follow up on some of these videos. Clear video evidence, with licence plates, of drivers blatently endangering others on the road!

I must be lucky, because I am not out there to take road vengeance for some of what I saw in this video. Metro Vancouver is also having an increasing epidemic of wrong-direction drivers. Where are the cops to get these dangerous assclowns?

Thanks for the updates. Hey in the very first video, the radar detector is ancient much better tech available today.

3:34 - that cyclist had a stop sign. You can see it. A lot of cyclists, everywhere, do not care about the laws when they are on bikes. When I used to ride on the road I obeyed all of the laws, still a vehicle on the road.

It's not just "one thing to drive down the bike lane". Don't ever do it because it's dangerous.

Ugh, I watch this all the time....still didn't have a dashcam. Came up behind a guy stopped in a merge lane and while I was wondering what he was doing he reversed hard into me. ICBC says unless he calls and admits fault I am 100% at fault. I was a good car's length back so he had some speed. I have a large pickup and he a small car, which got the back end obliterated. He admitted fault at the time but with no witnesses and he's had time to get coached- one hopes morals will prevail. Meanwhile I'll be getting dashcams front and rear :(

If I was on the receiving end of that guy's finger, I'd speed up, cut him off, and let him have it.

2:32 i dont see what forced the van to go into oncoming traffic they were already driving there and didnt just pull into that lane otherwise the angle would be different

Looks like the person turning left went into the left turn lane forcing the van onto the wrong side of the road

Where are the videos of Vancouver's worst drivers? All I saw in this video is average Vancouver drivers.

How so? I understand they can cross at uncontrolled intersections but here with the median I wouldn't think it would meet that criteria

​@@vancouversworstdriversthe median is just so cars can't turn, there's even two cutouts in the median for pedestrians to cross. In this case, the driver had enough time and space to stop and yield as they are required by law, seeing the pedestrian turn his head in the video, I'm guessing the driver honked at the pedestrian which is definitely out of line.

5:32, Yes I run into that before. Like that one time, on Lougheed highway at maple meadows way, a driver was using the right turn lane to go straight and continue on to Lougheed which they didn’t know that their lane ends for them to turn right. It was insane and unbelievable!

I feel like, unfortunately, many of these can be explained by distracted driving i.e. cellphones. Great videos, always love the commentary!

I thought that out of A B C and D I thought you were going to say Chinese. (This is not a racial comment go watch some videos of what it’s like to drive in china. Even the cops will drift around like this and try to cut you off nonchalantly

3:25 cyclist are NOT ALLOWED to ride on the sidewalk. It's called a sidewalk for a reason, it's meant for walking. The government has spent money to put bike lanes and most bikes lane are on roads not sidewalks. So if your riding your bike on a sidewalk and get hit by a car, ita your fault for being somewhere you shouldn't be.

a lot of the bad drivers i see in vancouver dont compare to the crap i see in miami. Its next level here in Miami, licenses are given out like candy
