haha although when I drove in Hawaii I was amazed at how bad they were at driving!

Doesn't matter if it's drivers, cyclists or pedestrians. It's crazy to me how many absolute fools there's out there.

So many people out there just do not give a crap about anybody but themselves. All this about carry on about gender ‘fluidity’ LGBTQ etc. etc. and outrage about not recognising men as women just because they choose to wear women’s clothes and on and on and on is just virtual signalling which is getting more hysterical every day. How can people care about any of this in reality when it is so very obvious they just don’t care about their fellow humans no matter who they identify as.

The truck switching lane at 7:11 did not even give notice before trying to switch. No one would have been able to predict what that truck was thinking so dont blame the tesla on that one.

love your videos. people need to pay attention more and also have patience for drivers as well. like the one guy who drove so close to that frantic lady doing a u turn. he couldve just honked and not rushed his car up to hers.

Omg I wish my work truck had a dashcam. I saw 4 people from 2 lanes decide to turn left off Braid onto a side street at rush hour today. It just boggles my mind.

20th in New West is not a well-layed-out street (anymore). I see that sort of thing a lot and it gets worse when busy (which is often). Upper Lonsdale in NV: my only guess is the small car was navigating poorly and didn't understand the difference between turning left on 29th or on Queens., and just missed the left turn lane from being distracted / flustered. 5:10, typical pushy pickup truck a**shole. They won't go into the barrier, but they will crash into you instead. That's their mental calculation - that you will just have to avoid the collision. 5:20 - oh that's some typical Richmond driving. Even more of it later... 7:20 - another pickup truck with the "it's you fault I butted in and almost hit you" attitude. I wonder what Evo's policy on checking their vehicles for damage is ?

The dog in sunroof driver at :40 is also a right lane jerk passer.

Top 3 worst drivers (no contest): 3- Evo drivers: they do not seem to understand that you must hold an actual driver license before you rent a vehicle. 2- Taxi drivers: I do as I please, I don't give a damn about driving rules, just like in Mumbai. 1- Richmond drivers: English? Forget about it. Why do I need English to read and understand signage? Double parking, parking on bus lanes, you bet! Stop signs: what stop signs? Turn signals: what for? I think I know where I am going. Driving on the wrong lane counter-traffic and blaming everyone else. Yielding on a right-hand turn when the traffic light is red...what? Me no English. And of course, the police is missing in action.

That intersection at 4:00 is a HORRIBLE design. What were the road stripers thinking? I get it. Left turn only means don't go through. But when the opposite lane that is lined up is coming the other way, that is asking for head on collisions. Makes as much sense as planting vision blockers in the middle of traffic circles so that cars coming around pop into view very suddenly.

I just had someone go in to do their road test today and the road tester dinged them for shoulder checking too much before backing out? Has anyone else had this experience before where you are supposed to only check 180 degrees instead of all 360 degrees or something? And then dinged for applying more pressure the brakes of an electric car vs gas car too That’s what the road tester told them to fix

At 1:44, isn't the SUV at fault? That lane is an HOV lane but only for buses and bicycles from 7 am to 7 pm.

Yes but I doubt ICBC will assign fault based on that. Probably a ticket at the most

2:13 Check the cyclist's belongings? His fault for not securing his stuff. He should check for damage to his car and get the cyclist to pay for the repairs. You hit any road debris, the person who left the debris is at fault. Just because it was a cyclist doesn't mean he can get away with it.

I tried drawing a Venn Diagram of drivers of black pickup trucks and assholes but after plotting the relevant sample sets the two circles just lined up directly on top of each other. I tried submitting it to a psychology journal, but they said that this was a well-documented fact already.

Yeah, probably 50/50 on this one.

41st ave and that bus/bike lane. It even says buses/bikes only from 7am - 7pm. So many love riding that lane and pretending to make a right turn just to get away with it. If the city wants to make a quick buck leave a few VPD along that route instant and easy cash.

@@sucraf1 Yes, there is 3 lanes. However, that 3rd lane is only for buses and bicycles from 7 - 7. That white suv was neither and should not have been there. Which puts him, not the left turner, at fault, imo.

4:00 yes I do see it all the time and I dont even go to that part of town very often. I honestly cant blame the drivers either. the first time I was there I almost made the same mistake but I consider myself to be a very attentive driver. I think there should be more clear signage before someone gets hurt. I would only blame it on bad city planning not bad drivers (even though obviously it takes a bad driver to make that mistake)

I used to drive this hill every day and the signage is very poor. If there's a lot of traffic in the right lane chances are the small sign that is there will be blocked.

It's a reserved lane for buses and cyclists from 7am - 7pm. It's not an HOV lane (based on the sign).

1:34 that SUV was not expected in the bus lane at 2 04 pm daytime with a left turn signal on.

1:38 you can tell this is a pickup truck, it should be that driver that should be looking for what's coming along side if he knows that car was going to cut through. He could have blocked the car turning since the car is to low to see. Instead they let it happen.

Thats why i dont like driving behind anyone thar has things " strapped " in the back. I never trust it .

You’re wrong about the homeless guy. I wouldn’t get out and converse with a potentially angry, dangerous homeless guy over that either. What good would it do anyway, he probably has no I.D.

The interesting thing is that some EVO drivers don't care. They just signed up for it and they don't have to worry about the insurance or any damages they have done to the vehicle. If they get into an accident BCAA will have to pay for the injury as well as the repairs for both cars

The deductible on said included insurance is upwards of $1,000, though. And that’s just for insurance claims. Tons of other fees for misuse/abuse apply. I wonder how many Evo drivers actually read the fine print. So, driving like a dickhead might be “covered”, but do they understand the full consequences of being careless with the vehicle simply because it’s not theirs? The “gotta drive like a maniac; trying to save time” mentality of most Evo drivers is hilarious though. At most you save 45 cents for shaving a minute off? Congrats??

Agree. We do t have to let entitled people in and I generally don’t. I guarantee that if I behaved like that those same folks would just ignore me. There is no road rule that says we let them in, so let’s concentrate on the actual road rules before criticising.

From what I've read, Evo drivers need at least their N license to drive. That doesn't mean they are good drivers haha

Evo is a ride share company that has black cars parked everywhere where people can pay per hour to rent a car .

My blood boiled as well! 6:30 shows the typical behaviour of some Chinese drivers, especially those old ones. The driver was slowly turning right and took over my lane. I had to stop so hard in order to avoid crashes.

It'd be a shame if the SUV driver noticed how everyone else had stopped for some reason... 2:19 Given his lack of helmet combined with a backpack, I'm fairly confident this cyclist didn't buy the bike OR the trailer, and that there are two people missing those items. Looks exactly like every bike thief where I live. 4:50 Found out. 5:31 HOOOOOOW?! HOW?! What f-ing show were they watching when they did this? 5:42 Both the federal government and the entire automotive industry failed us when they decided people could just drive around with no tail lights. 6:50 Coast Mountain Bus Company eh?
