as 20 years on the road, I have seen so many like 4:05 that the white car stopped trying to be "polite" but actually not following the rules cause the car on the other lane unable to see the incoming traffic so that the collision happens everytime, I will never turn if people "polite" to me which should not suppose to, please follow the rules and life will be much easier for everyone

I hate people that are "polite" but disrupt the flow of traffic. The nicest thing you can do is be predictable. And yeah, I actually have been on the receiving end. On e was the car going straight that was hit by someone that was "waved by" by the person in the right lane and they didn't see me.

You are wise to do so! Some roads are notorious for people doing that... often elderly who don't realize they can and often do, cause accidents by doing so.

The videos at 7:16 from Alex and 7:30 from Aaron show what happens when a driver thinks it's nice to stop and allow a car to cross in front of their stopped car, only to see it hit by an overtaking vehicle. NEVER wave someone by across in front of your vehicle if there is a chance somebody will pass you and cause a crash.

The second one for sure the truck was signaling and wasn't letting the person go. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case for the first one too, but I can't say for sure.

Over 80% of these could have been avoided with a simple shoulder check (and just not erratically changing lanes in general) as well as not turning left without knowing 100% its safe to do so.....

@0:50 People need to realize that while Yellow means clear the Intersection, you still have to make sure it is safe to do so. The Guy going through did enter on the Amber, which is legal where I live. The Guy making the Left should have seen him coming, and can still Legally Exit after the Light turns Red. In fact he has every Right to Exit on Red, if he entered on a Green

3:26 while the cop did have the right of way, he was also traveling WAY too fast on that road. the speed liimit there is 30km/h and pretty much every intersection has a crosswalk at it and lots of people cross all along the road.

Also the cop didn't have lights and sirens on. Heck, even with lights and sirens, emergency vehicles need to exercise caution when breaking the rules of the road to respond to something faster.

I bet icbc actually sided with the Honda. It’s the ambulances fault because that’s how the law works. Regardless of the emergency they ran the red and it’s the ambulances responsibility to make sure everyone stops.

That was almost me last year (no crash). Cut off a poor Uber driver in Coquitlam in my CA plated BMW at the intersection of Lansdowne and Barnet Hwy. Got honked at. Still feel guilty about it to this day. I should've just turned left and not changed lanes over a solid white. It was almost 2 am and I was too tired to be driving.

ICBC should be the ones responsible for letting these people on the road. The rules aren't strict enough and our province has clearly haven't tested people thorough enough. Driving is a privilege not a right.
