Hi JC, I have 3 questions: 1- In case of Exercise induced glucose transport, pancreas doesn’t release Insulin? 2- In exercise induced glucose transport, how is insulin sensitivity increased? 3- What does the Adipose cell use the glucose for? My understanding was that only Triglycerides or FFA is taken up by adipose cells. Thanks in advance!!
@Fittrjc5 күн бұрын
@@padminimishra5788 no the Pancreas doesn’t release additional insulin Insulin sensitivity gets impaired due to impairment in cell transduction( signalling), when cells are healthy ( reduced oxidative stress) transduction gets better thereby improving insulin sensitivity All cells need glucose for their own survival :) adipose tissue are storage cells but to be able to store TGs and release them into bloodstream also require them to perform processing like breaking down tgs and building fatty acids into tgs , and all of this requires a lot of coupling reactions that do require energy. Besides the adipose cells are living cells so they need energy for their own survival too

@@Fittrjc thank you for such a quick response as always. So does glucose undergo triglycerides conversion in the adipocytes or the de novo Lipogenesis occur only in liver?
@Fittrjc4 күн бұрын
@@padminimishra5788 it can happen in both places but is more active in liver because if you think about it, when does DNL occur? Someone consumes excess carbs-> carbs are stored into muscle and liver glycogen-> when glycogen levels are exhausted in the liver -> DNL occurs.

Hi sir, I started sprinting on the treadmill a week ago. I began at 16 km/h for 45 seconds, with a heart rate of 171 bpm on my Apple Watch. I did this for 4 days, then increased the speed to 17 km/h for 70 seconds, with a heart rate of 181 bpm. The next day it was 169 bpm, and today it’s 171 bpm. I do this daily, along with weight training 6 days a week, and finish with one round of sprinting. Am I doing this right to improve my VO2 max, strengthen my heart, and lower my resting heart rate?
