Dude, Where’s My Protein? | The FITTR Podcast | S03 EP04

Indian cuisine varies from region to region but one thing seems to be common - a sad lack of protein!
India’s average life expectancy has improved since 1947 and diet certainly had a role to play. But why are we still reluctant to eat more protein?
And no, your daily dose of dal might not be enough! This one might ruffle a few feathers, as we look at upending deep-rooted beliefs about diet and food.

Thank you for sharing this..One question on Soy, Does Soy has all 9 essentials amino as you had mentioned except soy for vegetarian diet? also any idea about the long term effect of soy for regular consumer of soy chunks consuming approx 150 gms of soy chunks? I have see lot of discussion around soy containing the female hormone etc

No it doesn't have all 9 amino acid About the estrogen hormone you need to eat a lot to get those effects like 500 to 1000 g which is I don't think is possible to consume.

in India, buy whey directly from importers. chances are that you are having genuine whey . when he says he doesn't buy from India means he gets imported from genuine importers

You take Soya bean. Process it, take out all the oil and the kachra that is left after taking out all the oil and heat pressing the bean is YOUR SOYA CHUNKS...HAPPY EATING. Probably that's why it is cheap. Kachre ko fenkna tha wo b packet pe pack karke becha ja rahe hai..
