Hi, it's still working like new! I got it on ebay, it's an OEM part. I put less than 100 hours on my Gator a year.

The hydraulic jack was replaced but is still leaking. What's causing that. Then then I replaced it again with the old one it leaked from the top instead of the top. Then I replaced the cap and copper wire and then the top of that started leaking. What am I doing wrong. Any help.

Cool video. But before you do this, make damn sure the old contents of the drum were not flammable. Vapors can be just as explosive as the former contents, and guys have gotten killed just by drilling or cutting into "empty" drums that exploded. I was just reading about a guy in Pennsylvania who got killed by a burn barrel last week. And I know of another incident in Iowa that killed a man who was welding on top of a barrel, using it as a workbench. Filling the drum with water before cutting into it can displace explosive vapors, if done correctly.

Hey man, great method and I'll be using it today, thanks. BUT I do want to say... use safety glasses man. One of my technicians just lost his left eye from using the air hammer on a wheel bearing. The bearing splintered and shot to the back of his eyeball like a bullet, tore the retina off the back wall. He's blind in that eye now. I know pretty much every single "old timer" in every type of shop will say "I aint wearing those pussy goggles" but look man, I ain't going blind over here. No thanks.

Do you think it can be done without removing manifold?
@Hubjeep11 ай бұрын
As I recall there was some room under the manifold to access the plug. You don't need much room to get it in place and tighten it down.

Great video! Having a similar issue with a 2019 HPX815E Diesel Gator. Pulled the primary clutch no problem and ultrasonically cleaned it. Clutch compresses and releases by hand but the rollers on the spider that limit the travel of the flyweights are only about 270 degrees complete--is this normal or evidence of extreme wear? I would have expected them to be 360 degrees round... A detailed photo of the ends of the spider showing the rollers would be very useful. Also, has anyone had any proven success with an aftermarket primary clutch? The John Deere parts ought to be called "Dear Parts" because they want $700 now for a replacement AM13887!
