My 1999 Jeep Cherokee has almost 350,000 and is Just like new...My original muffler lasted till 256k...Best vehicle ever built..My transmission is still like new ,even with 350k....4.0Aw4 BEAST!!!!

Gotta hit darn near every bolt you plan on removing under a cherokee with penetrating oil several days in a row prior to removal. This saved me tons of grief over the years and worked well.

Yes, rust sucks, plenty of road salt in NY. :( Which is why I got my F150 from Tennessee. Shipping cost was well worth getting a rust-free 12 year old truck.

Steering wheel is probably just off, can be adjusted by turning the adjusting sleeve on the drag link.

For some reason my headlights are crappy as hell. Standard bulbs, but so dim even when brights are on no one flashes me.

Yeah they are pretty dim compared to a brand new car. I swear they use aviation lights on new cars and they only have their daytimes on :S.

Those aren't the brights. My jeep, which is the same year make and model, has the light on and it just gets brighter when they are on

Looks like you didn't need to bother cutting off the clamp all nice and clean like you did at 2:16 just cut off the end of the cat.

Correct, but you could have left the cat outlet full-length and shortened the new tailpipe instead. My oxygen sensor was stripped so this gave me a new one and overall more new pipe.

How's this system holding up 5 years later?

Did it crack? Worth the 5 hunnid?

Do you know how easy it is to fix your steering wheel?

Yes, just adjust the drag-link! The problem is that I have too many projects/hobbies. Everything gets preventative maintenance (oil, fluids), but when it comes to optional stuff I rarely get them done.

HEY BRO HEEEEEELLLLPPPPPPP LOL…………..my converter was stolen of my 98 xj last night in my driveway. What are good anti theft plates and such for these XJs, any part numbers or info? I’m in CA so have to have a converter.

Hey, I have never heard of an anti-theft plate, but there may be a skid plate available that covers that area. Hopefully you can install a universal converter and save some cash.

don't leave your brights on too long... I did the same thing and I melted 3 headlight switches.

Thanks for the suggestion! The muffler looks great (very slight rust on the welds), pipes have surface rust, that hanger I am installing at 4:50 has rusted through to give you an idea of how the system has outlasted the aftermarket hanger.

Good install video...but please don't drive around with your highbeams on.

Yes. Very little visible rust on the muffler, only surface rust on the pipe.

It's the model P260 with 200 lb.ft. The newer model 261 has 300 lb.ft. It only has trouble with very rusty stuff. Rarely do I ever use my IR2135Ti.

Yes, condensation builds inside the exhaust, seeing some water come out is normal.

Would have been far better to hear it from the OUTSIDE brother.
