Drive chain replacement on diesel 6X4 gator. Was much easier than expected. Old right side chain had bad link, made a "clunk" every time it went around. Replaced both, the pair was about $120 from Deere.

And when your gator is too rusty to remove all those parts, angle grinder the old chain off and get a new one with a master link

Why not just remove master link and then adjust tension?

Google the manual for the TH Gator. I think it was something like 1.5" sag from horizontal.

@@Hubjeep i just took the wheels off,im following your lead....there are no adjusterbolts in the back...:-(.........any ideas?I bought chains with links so i dont have to take the center wheels off.
I was looking out for chain tension on the 6x4 does anybody know what that should be? Is there a deflection it should be at?
