I do get why Man's Best Friend was banned. It's definitely not an episode I'd rewatch. It just felt too mean-spirited, not very fun, and George Liquor is a terrible character. Now the other banned episodes feel more in-line with the chaotic world of Ren and Stimpy.

looking at the episode this way was eye opening… As a person who is on meds for anxiety AND depression, being on the wrong medication or the wrong dose of it… it can make you change at the drop of a dime… Once i was on the right one, i was… okay… but still had a slump. That was until my dog, rest his soul, showered me in so much love i was able to make it through the day and start living again. Love served me better than my daily medicine. So i see why this episode was holds more now that im grown up than it did years who when i first saw this episode. And im SO sorry to hear about your dad… I send all the love and support i can over the web to you and your family.

The kids flashback made my Mom cry and I never knew why. She was just really touched and had happy tears. I remember asking her what best gift I ever gave her, she said, "You, you were always the gift I wanted since I was a little girl." BRB gonna cry now 😢😢😢

Sometimes kids can be related to the same story because how many children have active fathers or parents that they don't see only here from every now and then it's not uncommon so that's why I think kids can relate to this stuff

Here’s a theory… SpongeBob left bikini bottom and just left a butch of dummies to go live in rock 🪨 bottom because he missed it down there… Maybe,, by leaving dummies behind SpongeBob could live his dream 💭 with a license 🪪 in rock bottom… SpongeBob made a dummy before,, why!?!? Not make more and control them from rock 🪨 bottom, boom 💥 So SpongeBob can live out his dream driving around in the abyss

This episode hits me hard for two reasons. The first, I was an infant when my father passed, just like Chuckie was with his mom. I always connected with Chuckie the most watching the show as a kid. We were both redheads, needed glasses and had single parents. I had the same gaping hole in my life that my dad left. And now, it hits me hard a new way. Several days ago, I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat after 17 years together. It still hurts like absolute hell. She was my constant companion growing up with so much changing around me. But her body was giving out after a long five year battle against kidney disease. She fought like hell for those five extra years to stay with us, but her kidneys were shutting down, she was hobbling with arthritis and had tumors on the back of her head and neck. She survived so much over and over again, I guess I was still in denial that the odds had finally run out. That her time had finally come. I mean, I had no idea on Monday this week that her final day was Friday. It was just that sudden. It hurt so much during that final day with her, taking her from the house for the final time, and going to the vet's office. I could have let my mom take her, but I resolved myself to stay with her until the end. And I did as she went to sleep for the final time. In my 28 years of life, this was the first time I'd ever seen that moment of death. It wasn't the same as losing my dad as an infant. This was pain of a different kind. Even though I knew she was in pain, that she couldn't go on anymore. I just wanted one more day, one more day. Even though I know deep down this is what was best for her. And now, I listen to Meredith's words and it both pains and soothes me. I don't know what comes after death, but I'd like to think that both my father and cat together now watching over me. That the wind on my face is her purring, that the rustle on my bed is her snuggling next to me. I hope this goodbye to them isn't final, and I'll see them again one day.

I think the example of ronda's first episode is a universal message "Be careful how you treat others because you may be the next target". As a European I never got the racism message because back in that day it was already normal to treat people somewhat equally... apart from being a bit of a "weird" one. so That first episode was a more literal thing.

Was he really that big a villain? Cause when he challenged them psychologically he gave them challenges from beating monsters who were filled with candy (giving kids cavities are evil, him fighting with other villains about the evilness in his plans when they had a convention.) the problem solving challenges from when he made the professor pay in full at the diner, saving people while teaching them to use more then their powers that it won’t fix all their problems, he made bubbles brave when it comes to getting the girls to make up cause whenever they fight she was the glue, she helped blossom become a better leader and buttercup to use more then just her muscles.
