This season reminds me a lot of 2005 when the Astros started off terrible and the Chronicle(newspaper) printed their tombstone when they were 15 or 16 games under .500. They then proceeded to play .900 baseball and were back to .500 around the allstar break from what I remember. They ended up going to the world series for the first time that year where they got swept.

This has been the pattern for the last few seasons. They play real well in May and early June and then... Past is not always prologue but it doesn't bode well.

Seattle doesnt have a worst fear, the ownership has been bad for over a decade. This is nothing new to anyone that is a fan of the team. Never spending money on talent, not firing a terrible manager until its too late, an offense that has talent but the coaching cant actually develop it.

Doesn't anyone remember how piss poor the Yankee lineup, other than Judge, was in 2022? The fact that he dragged them to the postseason, virtually alone, was the greatest miracle since the raising of Lazarus.

The head coach is not letting the pitchers pitch what they want best way they were losing at first I don't know if they're letting the pitchers pitch what they want now, but you remember Dusty Baker he was letting the pitchers pitch what they wanted, but the area that Dusty Baker messed up on was when Dusty would take out the pitchers, and the other team didn't even get a run; you don't do that! you take out the pitcher when the other team getting runs especially on the playoff game or more than that in the world series game and that's what Dusty Baker was doing that's why the Astros lost

What is it with YT Yankee analysts who insists the Yankees were the dominate team in the MLB this year until the last few weeks? Not true. If you go by winning %, the Phillies and Dodgers were better, and even then, the Phillies have been tops for 90% of the season. Wins are all that matter.

The straw that broke the camel's back for the Yankees season was when the Red Sox ran rampant on the bases stealing 8 or 9 times in "one game" Sox were playing with the Yankees catcher.

Nobody and I mean nobody is scared of the Yankees lineup. They can't run, they can't hit except Judge and Soto. Don't look now but the Red Sox are about to pass them right after the All-Star break with a bunch of young kids. 😂😂 Oh, and Rafael Devers owns the Yankees!

In the last 21 games, the Yankees are the worst team in baseball. Yes, the White Sox have won more in that span. 3 more. And yet, the power rankings have them in the top 5? Please...

I don’t know why people are saying what’s wrong with the Yankees. Nothing is wrong with the Yankees this is there MO every year since Boone took over and Judge could 100 home runs but they mean nothing is they don’t win , Stanton is waste, Soto disappeared along with the whole team.

The answer is, they're not good...no third baseman, no closer, suspect starting pitching, weak pen, no first baseman, Glyeber has zero baseball IQ, Verdugo is a knucklehead and LeGroundout needs to be cut and his contract eaten...the team doesn't respect Boone, and he doesn't hold them accountable for bad base running and lack of hustle...they beat up on scrubs early and have been exposed by good to average teams...I said they were a third place team in Spring training and they're proving me right... They're old, slow and lack athleticism...they will NEVER win with Boone and Cashman...case closed.

It’s fairly simple. It was the beginning of the season, when most pitchers aren’t “stretched out” yet and most hitters haven’t had the at bats yet. Basically the league caught up to them.

Don Mattingly an all time Yankee interviewed for this job years ago and lost it to Girardi because at the Time Donnie had no experience. He has since coached two teams to the playoffs. Boone had NO EXPERIENCE by the way. Hire Donnie before some one else does.

Julio is 23 years old. I'm frustrated by his approach, but having been around the game at higher levels, I understand that players continue to evolve. Julio isn't a superstar yet, even though some people have put him in that box. He's very talented but he's still learning what it takes. Your video suggests that he might be a fraud...? Yeah, go fuck yourself. You're not wrong if you say this Mariners team was poorly constructed. You're not wrong if you say Julio is struggling. You're not wrong to suggest that the Mariners aren't guaranteed a playoff spot even with their dominant pitching staff. But suggesting that a highly talented 23 year old might be a "fraud" demonstrates that either you don't know the meaning of the word, or you're a slanderous asshole trying to stir up controversy. Don't create fake drama if you want to be seen as credible. Content creators who get clicks by making up false narratives can only be classified as... wait for it... fraudulent. This was my first introduction to your content. Obviously, you're full of shit so you don't get my subscription. In the future, try not to be an asshole.

What do I think about it? Hey! I think that's pretty funny! I am an Athletics fan, and seeing this makes me feel not so bad. I have been a baseball fan since 1975, and the quality of baseball has dropped immensely. The way pitching is today is ridiculous. Jim Palmer had seasons where he had more shutouts and complete games that Max Scherzer has had in his career. Batters today strikeout a lot more often, and 180 strikeouts a year is acceptable. The owners meanwhile, pay more and more for players like Mike Trout, that are injury prone. I don't know the last time I watched an MLB game in its entirety. It is worth mentioning that there are a lot of retired Major Leaguers, that don't watch the game at all.
