Ya exactly. I saw the title to this and was like wtf what about the dodgers....I'm a Yankee fan but this video is a bit over exaggerated. let's see them do something before we start saying they are all the way back.

​@janielarzola4026 That's why we had to make the moves that we had to make cause of what took place in these last 2 playoff seasons, without advancing in the playoffs. Yankees not making the playoffs since 2016, Last time the Dodgers missed the playoffs is in 2012.

Yankees are like the Cowboys though, they will be good in the regular season and fall apart in the playoffs.

Not surprised by what the Yankees are doing its a trend they do when they miss the playoffs 2008 misses playoffs 2009 win World Series 2016 misses playoffs 2017 make the ALCS.

They missed the playoffs in 13 and 14 and were done in the wc round

They hype them up every year, theyll start good but it'll break apart. Almost anyone thats been traded in the past or been signed falls apart. Only real team is Judge, Cole

I don't know how they are all the way back with this starting pitching staff. Also no hitting at DH, 1B, SS, and 3B.

They’ve outbid the Yankees for pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (offering $325 million in over 12 years), Ohtani’s deferred salary made it possible.

I would say the Yankees are around 70% back. If they would replace their overpriced declining veterans with a new core of young cost control high ceiling prospects, like the Baltimore Orioles did recently which helped the Orioles to rise to first place in the division, and stop adding/signing high, cost but declining and often injured veterans like Jacoby Ellsbury, Aaron Hicks, Josh Donaldson, and even Giancarlo Stanton, the Yankees could someday be 100% back.

Here is hoping that Yankee excellence continues for several more decades. A.L. go cry us a river. 😊

No, Yankees fans hate what the Yankees are doing for not getting another competent starter and top closer. They do get credit for signing Soto, and Stroman to bolster the rotation, but they need to do more. Verdugo and Grisham, good signings, but Cashman gave up too much pitching for Soto, Grisham and Verdugo. There's still top starting pitching out there so act on it and sign one Cashman. Mike Clevenger or Jakob Junis would be good signings if you can't get Snell, Bieber or Cease. But you must get a starter and get a quality cliser like Hader, and Neris is a top relierver also, so get it done.

Volpe 1st Verdugo 2nd Soto 3rd Judge 4th Rizzo 5th Torres 6th who cares after that Let’s Go Yankees !!! Omg wait till The Martian 👽 comes back we will be unstoppable

There's no way I would build a lineup where both Judge and Soto aren't guaranteed a first inning AB. Ideally, we get a high contact high average guy to leadoff. Then go Soto and Judge. Volpe is a future leadoff IMO, but he isn't ready to headline the lineup yet. And his speed at the bottom of the order would be great for turning it over to the top.

Imagine if Stanton rebounds and hits 40 home runs I wouldn’t care if he hit .240 as long as he’s hitting bombs. Also I wouldn’t sleep on Austin wells. He has a swing build for Yankee stadium and he’s an offense first catcher. DJ looked decent at the end of the year but he’s a league average hitter at this point of his career

the MLB hates what the Yanks are doing? You never even attempted to address your supposed premiss, much less support it. I have to give this clickbait status therefor. Yanks are making moves around the corners and background. I do not find these to be unintelligent ones but we shall see. Certainly not the Yanks of old where they just spent to get the best players. Did that with one rental, let's see whether they can swing signing him for long term. Also, Yanks do need another starter to be a contender. They will need to make a savvy trade I think. Moving to extinguish the smell from last season but no where near a top team yet.

Even if we add another decent starter I don't think the Yankees are yet. For Aaron judge and Soto to be the huge threat can be we need a legit lead of hitter. I would love to see a trade for Luis Arreaz. I don't think we can out pitch teams in the playoffs or if by chance we meet the dodgers in the world series so well have to wear down the pitching staff and win bullpen games.

Agree MLB shouldn’t allow the Dodger to defers Ohtani salary 4-5 years extra so Ohtani gets pay 2 million per year and allow to get 3 Tier 1 players creating a super team. What about the small market teams and a salary cap needs to be put in place to avoid this Dodgers get four prime players

My O's need to trade for Luzardo or Cease and Pay Bauer 15m p/yr for next 3-4yrs. A Bauer, Bradish, (Cease or Luzardo), Rodriguez, and Kremer would be a formidable Starting Rotation! Means, Wells, and Hall stay in BP. O's Bring up Holiday, Ortiz, and Mayo now ready for Yankees!

You need to stop giving all these teams so much credit. It's only more reasons for them to think their team is more superior than the jays. They are not going around magnifying the blue jays talents. Focus on the blue jays just like others focus on their team.
