The Seattle Mariners WORST FEAR Is Becoming A Harsh Reality...
Спорт
The Seattle Mariners have been a force to be reckoned with in the MLB so far this 2024 baseball season, but that could be coming to an end very soon... The Seattle Mariners are currently clinging on to the American League West for dear life, but the Houston Astros are hot on their tail. There is one big problem that the Seattle Mariners need to address if they are going to go on and win their division, and they need to deal with it now. Can the Seattle Mariners overcome this big obstacle or will they let this 2024 MLB season pass them by?

@@Brhoward31 I personally think that they needed to let Julio develop a little bit more in AAA. He’s good but to put that much pressure on someone who doesn’t have as much experience especially missed on AAA is another thing. @@buckeyevr6243 I’m saying that he should have developed in triple a before coming up to the big leagues because I think there’s development he could’ve had that would have helped him more right now. I have NEVER seen a team that strikes out so much on fastballs. It’s like the entire organization has never heard of OBP. They have starting pitching that’s incredible. But if you can’t hit or even get on base, you’re just wasting everything.

Seattle doesnt have a worst fear, the ownership has been bad for over a decade. This is nothing new to anyone that is a fan of the team. Never spending money on talent, not firing a terrible manager until its too late, an offense that has talent but the coaching cant actually develop it.
Notice how not a single former mariner from the post-Lou pinella era stays in Seattle. It’s a franchise problem. The mariners don’t have a clue how to manage players. Former Seahawks stay in Seattle, even Sonics players live here. Mariners can’t get out of town fast enough and that’s because the franchise treats them like garbage

If Julio Rodriguez is your problem, you have no problems. Julio HAS NO ONE HITTING BEHIND HIM. He gets dog dirty pitches at every at bat and we're not paying him for walks. Get Vlad Guerrero and slot him at 4. Don't be Upid Scott and throw him in the 5 or 6 spot as that is disrespectful. Oops! He already did. Put him permanently where he belongs -- in the 3 slot with VG behind him.

The Mariners are always one year away from something big. The Astros are always one year away from not being a playoff team.

The Mariners problems are named John Stanton and Scott Servais. John isn’t interested in fielding a strong competitive team and Servais wouldn’t know how to make the lineup even if he had better players to put in the game.

Golden Tate caught it.
He was 3 for 46 in one stretch! During this current home stretch he has batted in almost every position! Still not getting much production! No need to panic yet, he needs to find a grove and build from that! Baseball is a game of little things, bunts, stolen bases, extra base hat and runs. Those are things the mariners DONT DO! It’s also not options they have many opportunities to do since they haven’t been able to get many hits off of anyone! It it weren’t for the long ball we would be in last place in the division! A 10 game lead not long ago now down to 2! ✌️! We’ve got the pitching just not the hitting. 🤷♂️
Julio is not the offensive player he's gotten credit for, he's a prima Madonna, needs to focus on fixing the hole in his swing then doing promos and commercials
We still have the Seattle strom.

M's offense isn't great at all, and offense is down across the whole league and tons of players are having down years. Vlad, Bo, Springer, Randy Arozarena, Corbin Carroll. Before being injured Acuña was on pace for 13 home runs and 50 RBIs over 162. Hopefully Julio can figure it out, as he has all the tools.
216 batting average for the Mariners. They strike out too much. Houston will easily pass them and everybody knows it.

So an incredible player is going through a slump in only his 3rd season, and it’s time to hit the panic button? 😂😂😂 Whatever you do, do not go back and look at any hall of fame careers. I promise you’ll find some terrifying things that would destroy you. Literally everyone goes through slumps. He’s young. Hell, he got off to a slow start last year and then he went off. At some point, as baseball fans, we gotta stop putting so much pressure on our “stars” to be perfect. Not everyone is gonna be Albert Pujols and hit 30 HR/100+ RBI for 10 years straight. Hell, there’s very few Hall of Famers that have ever been that consistent. These guys are gonna have some struggles and figure out how to adjust. And with him being as young as he is, he has to learn how to make adjustments. Everyone just chill out. He’s way too good to stay in this slump. And even if he does, it’s his 3rd effing season. 😂 Dudes got a whole career ahead of him. One year isn’t gonna make or break him. Chill. He’ll be fine.
