How Paul Skenes Took Over Baseball Out Of Nowhere
Спорт
Paul Skenes has quickly become one of the most exciting pitchers in baseball, and with the ability to consistently throw 100+ mph, it’s easy to see why. However, his journey to stardom was not as easy as it may seem, and fans are worried that arm injuries are inevitable.
This is the story of Paul Skenes.

I’m a braves fan we played against him yesterday I swore strider changed jerseys
Skenes didn't start throwing 100+ until he went to LSU. The pitching coach put him on an MLB training program and worked his mechanics and then suddenly he was throwing 102-103. He can throw faster but chooses not to.
Pirate fan here. Hopefully they will get some offence to back their quality starters. Great vid. Thanks

Oh, can we add that Paul Skenes dealt Elly DeLaCruz his first pickoff at first base just two weeks ago!!! How 'bout them Buccos!!!
Its just really hard to get excited for pitchers careers when their injuries keep them out for months/years.

agreed, hopefully he can stay healthy for some time though

When I look at his mechanics, it looks like he really uses all of his body to distribute the workload, should he’ll keep him healthy throughout his career

And he didn't start pitching until a few years ago
Take a shot every time this guy says "however".
Pirates rotation looking scary...
I hope pirates don’t waste him by trying to protect his arm. They’re gonna have 4-good years with him til they have to trade him due to cheapness.
Man
he hasn't given up 3 runs in all of his starts right?

You gave up one run in his first game and left two runners on and they were walked home so technically he gave up three in his first start of four innings
Out of nowhere? Dude was the number one pick, last summer lol

It’s baseball dude. You don’t usually just see someone get drafted and make an immediate impact. It can take years for too prospects to make it theough the minors and even longer to prove they belong in the majors. There was actually a debate whether or not he or crews should have gone 1st overall. With the benefit of hindsight, him going 1 was obvious, but it wasn’t even at the time. He’s already dominating the mlb, it’s unprecedented
What u mean by "out of nowhere"????????

Out of nowhere because he was pitching at LSU last summer and now he's dominating dominating Major League baseball no minors
This number 1 overall pick just came out of nowhere😂
