Nah... WE (Phillies) want the Astros again, take care of what we couldn't finish last year! I don't wanna see the Rangers tbh, although would be a great series, I just like our chances against the stros better haha I predict my Phillies vs Astros AND Eagles vs Chiefs again but this time WE WIN!! I think we went through that tough stretch at the right time!! We are healthy and clicking but if there is a team that matches or out matches the rangers it’s the Astros!! I’m running with the Rangers because I’m a lifelong fan and it’s our time!! GO RANGERS!!!

The Rangers are so much better than people are giving them credit for. Throughout the 2023 season, the Rangers lost 5 of their 6 All-Stars for a significant period of time. They lost MVP candidate Corey Seager for 1.5 to 2 months, they lost Cy Young frontrunner Nathan Eovaldi for 2 months, Josh Jung and Adolis Garcia went on the IL at the worst possible time. Oh, and they also lost the best overall catcher in baseball in Jonah Heim. And even when he came back, Heim couldn't hit from the left side of the plate! Despite all of those injuries to impact players, the team STILL managed to win 90 games. Texas FINALLY has everyone back and healthy. They're getting hot at the right time. The rest of MLB better take notice. This team is FOR REAL!!!

I’ve been saying this all year. When the rangers bats are doing what they should and aren’t hurt then no one can stop them. But the second the bats cool off they are the worst team in baseball. Don’t forget when the Rangers played the Astros this season the games they won they were healthy and the games they lost bad in they didn’t have SEAGER, García, Jung, and Carter wasn’t called up yet. And no Evo, or Montgomery. So the team the Astros played in the Regular season isn’t the same team they are about to play.

​@@maxcrss2845 wth are you talking about? Altuve missed close to 70 games thru out the season ( that 1/3) of the season...Yordan missed missed or was played in over 50.. Brantley didn't play till the last 10 games of the season.. and Abreu was basically unplayable for 90% of the season because he didn't disclose he had been having bad pains ...once he took close to a month off..his BA shot thru the roof, but that still don't change the fact that he was injured for almost the entire season( rather we knew it or not) So stop with the Injuries excuse..the last time the Astros played the Rangers yall had maybe 1 all star out

McCuller went down in April ( again) Luis Garcia ( lost to Tommy John) No JV Framber( up and down all season) Javier( regressed for most of the season) Brown( regressed) You look at the math...Houston played the season far more banged up than Texas

Rangers offense is either on or off. This lay one may just cool their offense down. If that happens, they have no chance. If they are on, then they beat the Astros. They cannot be up only a run or two in the 8th and 9th. The bullpen is almost guaranteed to give up at least 1-2 runs or more.

Does the layoff hurt them? I'm guessing they would've wanted to just keep playing games. It hurt all the teams with byes in the 2nd round except HOU. Really curious to see how they do with some rest. BTW, ATL had a 7-3 reg season record vs PHI and boy, that didn't make a difference. It does seem to be dominant pitching wins out in playoffs. Rooting for the Rangers!

No one is saying Texas will replicate that last series but take out the past series when texas was injured to hell and back and in a epic slump. Plus the astros struggled down the stretch against terrible teams and if the rangers hadn't stumbled out of the break then they would have lost the division by a mile.
