Trezentos anos se passarão e "Conan, the Barbarian" (1982), ainda será o melhor filme de ação de todos os tempos.

Predators make so much sense in terms of humanities folklore. Make a film about predator set in the 1400s boom folklore Make one set in the 1800s boom Jack the Ripper

"One of the best movies ever made" is a bit of a stretch. Not even my favorite Miyazaki movie. Just re-watched it theaters and like a lot of these movies; stuff just kind of happens "for reasons" and the story just eventually ends. Chihirio doesn't really do anything at all during her time in the bath house. If it wasn't for Haku getting injured (for reasons that are completely vague the entire movie) she wouldn't have had anything to do. There was no plan whatsoever for her to actually escape and save her parents. She encounters the No Face and is just like sorry again and leaves and it slowly follows her and thats the resolution of that. She goes to Zinaba's place and accomplishes what I have no idea. Haku is perfectly healed, comes to get her and they just leave. She is put through some random final trial and just instantly gets it right and thats all she needed to do to leave. I appreciate the artistry and all the mythology packed in to the movie but as a story it isn't very captivating.

I watched this for the first time yesterday and have since watched numerous review and analysis videos on KZread to get a better understand of the film. I’m appalled by the fact that no one mentions the fact that none of Arthur’s brave and renown knights had the brains or balls to speak up to the Green Knight, an intruder to their celebration, and question the meaning of the ‘game’, weren’t bold enough to say ‘no, we’ve no interest in playing games with you’ or something, anything more than just standing there!

First Knight should be on this list, if not near the top. I think I've come to prefer it over any of these, although I also have a soft spot for Excalibur, Monty Python and Camelot.

I just showed my 12 year old daughter Spirited Away for her first time. The first time I saw Spirited Away was shortly after I found out I was going to have my daughter 13 years ago. So it was a really special moment to show it to her. We watched half last night, as soon as she finished her school work today she was asking when can we finish the movie.🥰

The 24 version was novel in that it offers us a practical solution to the problems of shame & cowardice… …a leader does not elope whilst his kingdom burns. Best to foresee the consequences of one’s actions - or maybe even inaction? - and adjust one’s attitudes in the present accordingly via ‘expectation of failure’ - fear comes & goes, that’s fine, personally I wouldn’t ‘drill’ for it’s fuel - really though, ‘it’ is about developing one’s ‘taste’. Maybe even one’s distaste?
