You are amazing so IDGAF how much, many times, or ways you post content on this show...keep it up 🤗. They should hire you and play your content after EVERY episode because this show has so many layers that it is easy to miss key details. Keep going 🙌🏾

Thank you for the in-depth explanation. To be honest, I'm getting bored with this series. But after watching this channel, it turns out that there are so many things that happen in an episode of American Gods. Very interesting.

This show is amazing but i really wish they didn't have so much drama behind the scenes... The potential it had from the start of season 1 was mind blowing!

The bird statue could also be Veðrfölnir the Eagle that sits on top of Yggdrasil. It sits there and has an issue with Nidhogg a dragon like creature which is at the bottom of the tree and eats the tree to destroy it. Between them a mischievous squirrel goes between them telling them of assorted insults to make them want to fight.

On the postcard from Demeter, at the bottom in Greek, it says “I’m not lying” by the way

the street in the shot at the 7:23 mark looks like a thunderbird !

I really enjoy your break down of the show. I loved the show especially the first season, the second was also good mostly in parts. I have waited almost another 2 years and I'm not feeling it as much. I figured Shadow would be farther along. In fact I believe the biggest growth is Laura. I have enjoyed the story but not so much the delivery of it all. It had better humor as well. I hate to see this thing with so much potential die.

May be there a link between Dr.tyrell putting his hand inside the kid's mouth as he did with fenrir, but then pulling it out with (with a tooth)

You are right, he does not speak German we speak today. Or it is just the actor who does not speak German and tries to hide that fact with screaming. It always happens in not German movies or TV shows. You want to show someone speaking German let the person scream something that could be German but no German speaking person can understand. Sorry but it is kind of annoying to me as a German speaking person.

The trader doesn't even speak Middle High German, which was spoken around 1050 to 1350 and is mostly recognisable for native speakers. I'd say the same about Lower German, spoken in Germany's north. HOWEVER, he could be speaking older Friesan, a language familiy spoken on Germany's north west coast and parts of the Netherlands. It has little in common with High German (=standard German) but the dictionaries I found still use a slightly different word for "storm" as is used in this scene.

I recognize the man playing Try he was in a couple of seasons of American Horror Story and to be honest I don't think he is a right choice to play tyr who is a god of war and be honest does not fit the profile.
