And half these losers would go on to make up lies about the Walker brothers because they couldn't accept they were not relevant without the Nostalgia Critic to prop them up. Pedophilia and muppet porn also cropped up (Jewario and Linkara)

This movie is a masterpiece. Outstanding cast. They were going to do the gorrilas with CGI but they couldn't properly render fur, that's why people give it a bad rap. They were expecting Jurrasic Park level effects that simply weren''t possible at the time. It's a little rushed at times, but the book is also amazing. Had this movie come out 10 years later and done things just a shade differently, it would be loved by more than just its cult following.

I love this movie. It’s low budget af, but they put a lot of heart in it. and the acting, especially the comedic acting, is genuinely very good for the most part. And they all have great chemistry with each other.

It’s low budget? I hadn’t noticed that! Anyway, I agree that they did put a lot of effort and passion in this. The one thing that KILLS many scenes, is the fact that there are at least 10 people on screen, doing nothing and saying nothing, looking uncomfortable. It’s not because their characters are important in the story, that they need to be shown in scenes where they have no input at all. I guess it had to do with that “getting paid in exposure” Mike Michaud was always talking about when the actors complained they didn’t see a single cent from DVD profits. It’s impossible to watch these movies unbiased, because the “not so awesome”-document keeps roaming around in the back of my brain.

I know this movie is bad but they’re just something cool seeing everyone together like this before everything went to shit, like Jewwario getting outed for being sexual predator, spoony’s descent into madness, Doug becoming the most hated person on the side and the whole change the channel controversy.
