    Brian Colborn It causes a burning sensation, and damages your skin. Hence, it feels hot, and is still cold. Objectively, it's cold; subjectively, nobody would argue that it doesn't feel burning hot. van.physics.illinois.edu/qa/listing.php?id=687

    can it cause a fire? is it combustible? No. And dry ice "Feels" hot, that doesn't automatically make it hot.

  • @AOH2008

    @AOH2008

    9 жыл бұрын

    Brian Colborn You've read the page I linked, right? Dry ice causes both a burning sensation, and the results of a burn. A child with a fever can't cause a fire, but they're still hot. Sunlight isn't combustible itself, but it's still hot. Your argument makes no sense, and is an attempt to justify the use of semantics. The statement still stands: by all valid judgments of "hot" and "cool", dry ice fits the stated qualifications of being so cool that it's hot, and contrariwise, so hot that it's cool. Next time you try to pick an argument, you may want to stick to the parameters of the subject.

  • @MrMushroom123

    Brian Colborn at a certain temperature your body doesnt differentiate between hot or cold anymore, you'll just feel a burning on your skin. in a more scientific way, there is no such thing as hot or cold. only temperatures which lie out of our comfort zones of approximately 20°C.

  • @dacypher22

    The Slim Suit actually does work, but the commercial is still horribly misleading. It is a sweat suit. Boxing and MMA gyms use them all the time. They are designed to trap body heat inside to cause you to sweat more and more. So you are dropping weight by dehydration. This is how boxers, MMA fighters and wrestlers drop 5 - 15 pounds in a few hours to "make weight". The weight loss is nowhere near permanent (the weight comes right back after you maniacally drink water), and if you don't know what you are doing, they can be horribly dangerous.

    The "Slim Suit" actually worked, as advertized. If you wrap yourself in an insulating plastic bag, you will sweat. Water weighs about 8 pounds per gallon, so profuse sweating will result in minor weight loss. That is, until the resulting thirst drives you to drink it all back again.

    Kool-aid is notorious for being literally nothing but sugar and water. The mix crystals are just solidified glucose that gets crushed and put into little packets. The recipe calls for like, 2 cups of sugar and 4 of water and that's it. So the pre-made stuff in pouches having "20% juice " is actually a good thing, relatively speaking.

    The Transformers commercials at 17:00 and 18:18 are for the Pretenders, essentially they're Transformers with organic shells (The Autobots had human shells, whereas the Decepticons had monster shells). They're from the later years of G1, but some of the characters like Bludgeon (who had the coolest shell, essentially a skull faced samurai), Skullgrin, Metalhawk (who was a Japan only character for a while), and Thunderwing still make appearances in Transformers fiction to this day. The ones at 17:00 are the Classic Pretenders, which were older characters (namely Bumblebee, Jazz, Grimlock, and Starscream) reimagined as Pretenders.

    The bazaar thing is the slim-suit may actually work - no I do not think it helps you loose weight in itself please read the rest of the comment. I'm serious the placebo effect is very powerful, and people may subconsciously change their habits to loose weight with it. Goodness gracious the suit doesn't do a thing, but doing a research project on it may be very interesting

    Most YT'ers are probably too young to remember the Columbine school shootings.. but I remember the ensuing moral panic over metal music (and computer games, we're talking Doom now, LOL), much of it directed at Manson personally, coz the two perps apparently listened to his music. They interviewed Manson at the time, it might have even been O'Reilly himself, and probed him on what he'd say to those kids. His reply was this.. "I wouldn't say anything. I'd just listen, which is what no one bothered to do". I gained a lot of respect for Marylin Manson that day
