I can't believe NC didn't give credit to a great quote in Signs the second time the officer is questioning them: "Excluding the possibility that a female Scandinavian Olympian was running around outside our house last night, what else might be a possibility?" You can't deny that that's a hilarious line...

That alien looked a lot less scary than I thought it'd be.

The alien subtitle scene was one of the funniest Nostalgia Critic moments I've seen in a long time.

Because an alien strolling by and giving you a glance is so menacing.

in the bonus episode, as he's explaining in detail how to smuggle drugs, it reminded me of something that has driven me crazy for years: Trying to help people avoid crime by showing you all the weak points of your life where your most vulnerable on public tv! Every cop show does it, fictional or no, and a news segment I saw several months ago was devoted to showing in freakish detail how bad the security in your house is. If you want to help, stop telling crooks how to break into my home!

It all makes sense now. Samus is a space ninja, hence why pirate doors don't work right for her! She has a grapple, can infiltrate through tight spaces, her face is almost always hidden, she does somersaults frequently, and as of Other M she knows martial arts!

The only ghastly menace of Marijuana in the 1930s was the threat hemp was to the lumber industry! That's when the criminalisation of pot kicked into high gear, when the rich guys with lumber stakes, especially pulp wood for paper making, starting loosing money to the nascent hemp industry. I'm not a regular weed smoker or any kind of big fan of pot, but the war on drugs should really focus on the hard stuff like meth and heroin.

It's not just the rain, either. In a lot of places there's a fair deal of plain old humidity. Were they only planning to invade ridiculously dry locations like deserts or something? These aliens probably had the worst invasion strategy that I've ever seen in an alien invasion film. They're literally invading a planet that, unless they wear protective gear just about everywhere, will basically kill them on its own.

the first scene where the aliens are shown still scares me to this day

My point was that he was ignoring basic tenants, but that Asian boy scout thing explains something.

For me, similar to what the NC says, the buildup was incredible. When I first saw it, I got the chills as it led up to the reveal. But then we see...your average, stereotypical alien design that's been around forever. I mean, look at something like "Alien." Much like this movie, it had some excellent buildup scenes where we had character reactions and glimpses of the alien that were frightening. But while "Alien" had a very unique and unusual design, Signs had...well, this.

This is the first time I have ever thought that the Nostalgia Critic was not funny at all in a review. I personally LOVED SIGNS

After watching this review, i decided to watch the movie again. I have to say, i still like it. Even with all the flaws the Critic mentioned, i still found the movie fairly enjoyable to watch. And i can't explain why...
