Good variety of workings 👍
@@Thornaby37 Certainly was especially for a Sunday.
Very nice video😊😊
@@kaho1545 Thank you, subscribe for more content coming soon.
What's in the wagons?
Limestone I believe.
@@JackJolley thank you 👍
Nice and a tone 👍👍
Thanks.
Nice footage Jack
Thank you.
Good video Jack :)
Thanks Simon.
Excellent 👍👍👍
Thank you
Hi I have noticed that the thumbnail is incorrect. It was 57313 & 57315 together not 601
Amazing ‼️
Thanks Dan.
805810 doesn't exist, it is 805010
Appreciate the comment and correction
@@JackJolleyNo worries, glad I was helpful
I think the Class 37,47,56,58 and 60s and 70s are better than the Class 66 that's my opinion
I don't mind the 66s but will certainly never love them. Respect how versatile and reliable they are go anywhere and haul everything pretty much. The success of the 66 is a real achievement. 37,40,56 I absolutely adore amongst myself.
Nice capture. I saw 35018 British India Line at Kings Langley
Thank you
Great to see these 60 year old beasts still working freight, even if it was just a single wagon
They are tremendous locomotives and for such a long trip I was surprised that it was only hauling 1 wagon
Thank you for the information .
Any time!
Thank you for the information
Your welcome
Excellent
Thank you
Nice capture, nice location 👍
Thanks
A lot of traffic, I've never seen anything using part of the line. I used to walk over the line there to get to canal too
Which part of the line do you walk over/around? Is it the same path I was on here. The single line that follows the path here is freight only and does see regular use most days depending on what's running.
On the fisheries side... If that's where you are. Was a crossing there, then we followed the line to the canal.
@@davidhill9054 I wasn't on the fisheries side on this occasion but have filmed from within there multiple times. Yeah I know what your talking about now. With paths leading down to canal. I enjoy mixing nice rural walks with trains
I was just as frustrated sitting at Preston after a good run from Carlisle, believe me!
Railways and being sensible and efficient is a dream. Can imagine the hours you drivers waste sat in loops unnecessarily is high.
Fabulous loco, I got to ride behind it a couple of weeks ago.
Riding behind a steam engine is such a classic unique rail expect. Wonderful seeing her going strong. That overhaul was a real success. Busy few days of steam action too Sunday 13th and next Friday both seeing steam through Wigan.
@@JackJolley What is through next Friday?
I think it might be the two black fives 44871 & 45407 unconfirmed as yet. Linked the timing path www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U09164/2024-04-19/detailed
This is a brilliant website for getting allocations of steam moves www.railadvent.co.uk/events/great-britain-xvi-day-7
A better link that goes through each week www.railadvent.co.uk/railtours
Nice bit of Northern action .
Some decent variety too
Not bad to get 2 freights at Hindley in one visit
The binliner runs through Hindley 5/6 times a week at 2pm roughly. The MPV track machine only runs in season was fortunate it ran at a similar time here.
Great Video as usual. My Missus has just walked past someone shooting video off the bridge at Ince, and her friend asked him questions, was that you?
Thanks David, Wasn’t me that she walked past I’ve not been up that way in a while.
Lol that 319
I much prefer a 319 to an 805
On Blue box duties .. 💙
Correct
I've noticed the girders for the electrification wires have been put up just before ince station. The bridge being closed is going to be fun...Maybe make video Keep up the good work..
Yeah I’ve seen photos of Hindley with the masts now appearing. I’ll film at Ince and Hindley in the future. Certainly add that to my list thanks David
Hi Jack. I'm sure you will already know about Sir Nigel Gresley and another steamer going through Newton Le Willows tomorrow. Are you going?
I won’t be unfortunately It’s 7000 Britannia with Nigel Gresley I believe www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U00517/2024-03-14/detailed
There is a steam tour on Saturday timing links on that article www.railadvent.co.uk/events/the-shap-mountaineer
@@JackJolley Okay thank you Jack. Keep up the good work see you another time .
Very nice. Are you going to Bury at weekend?
I won't be at Bury.
They cant even tilt, who thought it was a good idea
Cheaper to build without being able to tilt. Still find it amazing the 390s could get to 140mph but never will thanks to limitations in the infrastructure. Cheap and cheerful without adding important extra capacity is a hall mark of the UK rail network.
Great shot, good to see the yellow pair together again! I’ve subbed!
I would assume the full yellow set will be used regularly having been away for so long. Appreciate the sub!
@@JackJolley I’d hope so, I got them for the first time a month or so ago, feels like they have been out of action for ages! Though I know colas plan to use 43s on some PLPRs too which will be good.
@@AnthonyFurnival 43s are becoming the standard locos it seems for majority of test trains. I hadn't seen the full yellow set for over 2 years. I believe the locos and potential stock must of had been having normal maintenance works done good to see it back. Interesting to see if the red 43s get painted into yellow soon
@@JackJolley definitely- well one 43 has been painted into colas colours with a yellow back which blends into the test train coaches so that could also be a design they opt for! I do hope Colas keep the 43s on… I’m missing seeing them on passenger trains!
Great capture of D213 on former home territory 👍
Thank you
Thanks for sharing that clip, Jack. Great sound as loco heads off from Wigan. Loco was superbly turned out too.
Glad you enjoyed , sound was incredible as she disappeared back into the dark night. Maintained brilliantly too.
Where was this one at or between?
This test run was Glasgow Central to Oxley Carriage Maintenance Depot which is located in Wolverhampton.
I got it at crewe
That’s great
A nice early morning shot of 'Tangmere'. 👍👍
Thanks. Always nice seeing a steam train
Its crackers west coast need to air brake more steam locomotives
There behind with that but in my opinion they’ve caused there own problems. Long legal battle was pointless especially when other companies all did the same thing to have the same safety system on coaches.
Nice video, Like !!!
Thank you
By 'eck that's shifting there, good catch Jack!
Must of had some great momentum off Bamfurlong Junction , could hear it for ages heading your way once she passed.
Brilliant capture
Thanks
Thank you for sharing an amazing train video. Greetings Joe 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent!
Glad you liked it
Hopefully the 37s will find work with another operator
Heritage/Railtour company I think is best hope for them
Nice capture of 90007 Jack
Thank you 👍
Looks great in that livery. Although not quite authentic, I do remember 37427 getting Regional Railways livery when it was based at Inverness in the early 1990s
It’s a livery that due to circumstances didn’t get put on a 37.
I remember when we used to put Spoil Trains into Ince Moss Tip, back in The Day.
That’s something I didn’t know regarding spoil trains.
Looks great in that livery, I hope to get there tomorrow. Thanks again for the info.
It really is a stunning livery. Hope you catch it. Always happy passing info on
Great to watch Jack. Do you know anything about a 37 at Wigan on Wednesday?
37409 in ScotRail livery belonging to LSL. It's a former DRS engine. I did film it going north yesterday evening Here it's the return Wednesday lunchtime path www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U91937/2024-01-24/detailed
@@JackJolley Thanks Jack.
Nice shot Jack, I was watching the map and saw 4S49 coming along the fasts and thought he might get you, glad he didn't ;)
Cheers Phil there always seems to be something trying to bowl us thankfully the 66 wasn’t going too fast think the Liverpool express crossing the line may of saved me.
Amazing
Thank you
Amazing got it at crewe station
Thank you and it's cool you saw it too.
Nice video! New sub from the Netherlands 😃👍
Thanks for the sub!
