60028 is seen heading north through Bamfurlong on the afternoon of Saturday 13th May 2023. The locomotive is sporting a unique blue livery with billboard "Cappagh" titles reflecting the parent company of DCR following their takeover a few years back.
Today we have 2 clubs of the Locomotive firstly at Bamfurlong taking the loaded sand train into Ravenhead Sidings at the historic Pilkingtons Glass Factory on gorgeous Saturday evening.
We then head to Ince Moss Junction a shirt distance by rail and only 30 minutes walk from Bamfurlong for the return empties.
