Maritime Blue Livery (DB) Locomotive 66142 Loco named Maritime Intermodal Three is seen heading south along the west coast main line and through Bamfurlong on the morning of Saturday 29th June 2024.
The smart class 66 was hauling 3 class 325 mail units on a empty stock move from Mossend to Crewe possibly for some maintenance. I didn't expect the 66 to be dragging the 325s as usually the move under there own power.
If id of known it was 66 hauled id of used a better angle. This canal spot is 5 minutes from where I live so use it as my more lazy position.
I am stood on the Leeds to Liverpool canal specifically the Leigh branch nearest road is Stratton Road Platt Bridge. The rail location is Bamfurlong junction which is just right if the bridge.0
