43055 leading 43036 being the Blue Midland Pullman HST set north along the west coast main line and through a gloomy Bamfurlong on the morning of Thursday 4th July 2024.
The smart blue train was working the northbound leg of Settle To Carlisle & Coastal Pullman (Midland Pullman) railtour from Derby to Carlisle via Nuneaton and Crewe before heading north up the Settle & Carlisle like and then home via Barrow down the Cumbrian Coast line.
Although in the railway world it's down to Scotland and Up to London which is an interesting thought process.
