DB Red 66007 speeds south along the west coast main line and through Springs Branch south of Wigan on the night of Wednesday 26th June 2024.
The class 66 was working the Hardendale Quarry to Margam limestone train running just 1 early at around 8.30pm. A very long job this from Cumbria to South Wales roughly at Bridgend.
Absolute madness in my opinion on the pathing for this train. 1 hour 40 minutes after it passed Oxenholme she passes me which can be done on 40 minutes on a clear run. Very rare I film this job but it was a nice change to catch it in the decent lighting that June can bring.
