Direct Rail Services Class 68002 rumbles north along the west coast main line and through roughly between Golborne and Ashton In Makerfield Hanson's facility Wigan on the wet afternoon of Thursday 13th June 2024.
The 68 was working the usual Daventry to Coatbridge Tesco container train running 2 late here. A new location for me as a backup plan as I was planning to film the Ashton stone job which didn't run it's afternoon path despite running in the morning.
Golborne is definitely part of Wigan despite what KZread thinks about locations.
