For anyone actually wondering how this works. Its not skin but rather soft tissue. We find it inside the bone itself. The bone fossilizes around the soft tissue ( the bone protects the tissue from fossilizing). Its very rare but its similar to placing a dead animal inside a vacume chamber. If you think about his argument for more than a second youll realise that the reason we dont start questioning the dinosaurs age is because there was no soft tissue anywhere else except inside the fossilized bone.

IMO and experience, it is known why the age of people began to get shorter. Adam lived 900-ish years. Look at the genealogy and see how every subsequent generation lived less and less time before "man will not live longer than 120 (I think) years. This planet is far worse than it used to be. Even those who live healthier lives aren't guaranteed to live longer than some who don't. This guy easily proves from Bible translation what so many have said "It's not that." and so many misunderstood verses and never bothered to learn correctly. For some, disagree all you want but the truth in all this is God said and it all happened.

Genesis 1:1 is part of the 1st day of creation. There are people that believe the the heavens are the angels. Not so. There are 3 heavens as Paul stated he was taken to the 3rd Heaven. On day 2 the sky around the earth is the 1st Heaven. The 2nd Heaven is where all the planets are. The 3rd Heaven is where God is. The word day in Genesis is a literal 24 hour period. Go get a Hebrew concordance and find the word day and it is a literal 24 hour period. Moses wrote Genesis. This theory that the heavens and the earth before day 1 is thousands and even billions of years old is nonsense. On every day God said that it was good. On the 7th day He rested. Now go to John 1:1 and read all the way through verse 14. John makes it clear that Jesus Christ is the word of God, and He is God. Paul told Timothy :"Study to show thyself approved." That also means us also. Don't just take someone's word for it.

I'm a fossil collector. The fact that they almost always are found in massive layers with multitudes of the same creatures at the same level makes me think it's not just random. It does appear as though most fossils we have were all created right around the same time...as if it was a catastrophic event that caused their formation.

Is Genesis history? I'm going to go with the safest, most logical, and most likely educated guess, and say no.

While I'm a Christian, I do know enough about geology, (even if just a bit) that I know there are these types of folds all over the planet in tectonic zones. And when I say tectonic, I'm not talking about plate tectonics necessarily. And in general, even sandstones don't "shatter" under these conditions. When you have pressure from below, you have what they call an orogeny, or colloquially an uplift event (event might be a funny word for this because the "event" can last tens of millions of years. The Laramide orogeny started about 75 million years ago and stopped around 40 million years ago. That's the uplift event around Yellowstone, and actually a much larger area). In fact, one of the places you can easily see these sorts of bends is in those areas. When the depositional layers that formed through sediment becoming stone, are in an area with an uplift event some time later, you get bends. No great mystery. All depositional layers at the large scale are deposited completely flat. That's part of the evidence they can use to actually date when the up thrust started and when it stopped. And if you're concerned with "unconformities" especially the Great Unconformity (which can be seen (and touched) in the Grand Canyon), just think of the back and forth processes of laying down layers, then when those layers are titled you get erosion. The Great Unconformity is the exact moment when that erosion process was stopped and new depositional layers were created, IE the layers above the unconformity. It's honestly taken me a long time to get to this point, in how I see the world and how I see God. I'd like you to consider the word faith. By definition, it's belief without evidence. If you have evidence, then it's just knowledge. And the Word goes to great lengths to point out how important that is. "Without faith, it is impossible to please God." With that being the case, why don't we judge the material world by what we can see and measure and the spiritual world by what can't see. In fact, the Bible explicitly ties those two ideas together, that of faith and what is unseen. I strongly recommend any of Myron Cook's videos here on KZread about geology. He has a gentle, kind way about him, and he has an infectious enthusiasm for geology.

I'm pissed at the title. Couldn't slip the video into the consciousness of an atheist on the basis of science alone, as just one break down of the nonsense that has been preached in the name of atheism, but of course not 15 seconds of the video gets watched. The video is dismissed immediately as religious evangelism with no credible science to teach a single soul. We know the science is true, but that's not a science video is it. I think it is disrespect for the audience. It's almost woke in technique, where people are spoon fed the thoughts they are supposed to have and can not make decisions or conclusions on their own. This is why I get upset with Answers in Genesis. Present the answers in science that point to the Answer in Genesis. When I try to use your material to point out really great scientific facts that yes, point to the flood, the cart comes before the horse. It's not working.

Most flat earthers are religious. Very few of them are atheists. So it's more likely that people of the future will view religious people as just as deluded as flat earthers. Since they are more or less the same.
You are wrong about the Earth being millions of years old, the age of the Earth is approx 4.5 billion years old.
