Series Synopsis:
𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘴 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘏𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺? explores rocks and fossils, intelligent design, astronomy, and so much more! These fascinating segments are approximately 20 minutes each and include an incredible depth of material not included in the film. They are perfect for families, churches, schools, and homeschools wanting to learn how Genesis explains the world around us.
Del Tackett, DM created the Truth Project in 2005 with ‪@focusonthefamily‬
Stuart Burgess, PhD has been at ‪@UniversityOfBristol‬ since 1997 mainly working in the area of design optimization of mechanical systems and biomechanical systems.

Photosynthesis...what mind couldve created such an amazing machine! All accomplished in a mere 160,000 bp of genetics...but not just the programming of the materials, the arrangement of those system components, and the presence of the required chemistry (photon, CO2, H2O)...all with the goal of producing O2 for us, and sugar for the plant. Glory!

Thought 'bout it a minute...the titanic example is probably a good one: we can design complex systems and package and name them all we want, but in the end, don't mess with The Almighty, maker of H20 and icecubes of all sizes!

The Titanic may not have been the best example for this video. 😊But I completely agree that the Creator is able to create anything in an instant and has done so. The 7 days as well as day and night serve as an orientation and guideline for us.

Great video! This man brought up a very good point that I hadn’t thought of. For people who believe in God but also believe God created the world through evolutionary processes over billions of years, why did he take so long to create the world? If God created the world to support life (mankind), why would he take billions of years to get the earth to the point where the earth was ready to support a fully functioning and complex creature like man? A literal 6 day creation makes much more sense. It saddens me to see so many Christians who believe in God take away His glory of doing it in 6 days and say it took billions of years.

Yes, the bicycle needs all the parts working together to operate properly. Please note that the first bicycle didn't have pedals or gears, so the current bicycle is the result of a development process. Which is still continuing, by the way.

Every development step along the way, since the first walking contraption developed by Karl von Drais, was created by intelligent designers. Intelligent designers added pedals, chains, gears, shock absorbers, etc. as time passed. They didn't accidently evolve by chance mutation. How likely are mutations to have the capability to calculate gear ratios, for example?

And, the parts in a bicycle were machined...the metal was mined, the alloys smelted, the frame poured and welded or fastened with screws. The proportion of the tires, the handlebars moulded and bent and assembled to the front wheel with purpose, the sourcing of the rubber for the tires, the refining of the rubber. The amount of engineering required to convert human range of motion into a wonderful labor saving device with increased speed of travel...there's alot more than meets the eye.

[1:6] And God said, "Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." [1:7] So God made the dome and separated the waters that were under the dome from the waters that were above the dome. And it was so. [1:8] God called the dome Sky. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. [1:9] And God said, "Let the waters under the sky be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. I did a little bit of searching to determine if wheat was developed by human agriculture, or is natural. I think modern wheat was developed through agriculture, like a lot of other vegetables and such. So no, god didn't create these things, at least not in their current form. Also, quarks like to bind together to form sub-atomic particles; atoms bind together to form modules. Molecules bind together to form materials from which new properties emerge. Seems like a bottom-up universe.

The speaker was talking about a top-down planning process and NOT a bottom-up implementation process. This is crucial. Only if you already have the final plan of the object, equipment, creature, etc. to be created, you can start "manufacturing" the necessary components. This is so easy to see that it is not even understandable why someone denies this... and yet it IS very understandable if someone does not want to know about God, because then he will not have to give an account of his life... or at least so he thinks for himself.

While I may be wrong, I don't think many disagree with the concept of microevolution. That's why we have so much variation in bovids and sempervirens, for example. (cattle and evergreen trees). The evolutionist still has the challenge of showing how selective breeding (natural or man influenced), could have a sempervirens evolving (macroevolution) into a species of bovid. The HOW of ANY Family/Genus evolves into another type of Family/Genus. (dinosaur scales into chicken feathers). Lastly who or what engineered the first quarks that could "bind together ..."?

Just because an ocean liner consists of atoms of iron, carbon, wood and linen, that does not provide logical conclusion that ocean liners were evolved from simple materials. Containing simple materials doesn't mean the end result exists withou intelligent design.

CM, Who or what provided the materials needed for the modern wheat hybrids we see today? Who or what provided the genetic material, in heirloom tomatoes, for the commercial varieties we find the grocery stores today? Selective breeding doesn't change hybrid tomatoes into cucumbers for our salads. "Seems like a bottom-up universe." Who or what established the bottom starting point, regardless of how miniscule you believe it may be?
