    Hello! what do you think, can such a lifting option lead to a fracture of the lower front lever? Thanks for the answer

  • @NexusAuto
    @NexusAuto21 сағат бұрын

    @user-yn4fx4px8m if done properly, it shouldn't. The person I installed this for still uses the Jeep for trailing and had no issues. But if something isn't done properly or if you do a higher lift, it can fracture something

    @armandohernandez5591 that's a tough one. It's already hard enough to get that dipstick out. Since it's still stuck, you'll need something long and thing and you'll have to go from underneath the metal holder and try and pry it from there. It'll be tight and difficult though, sadly.

    How about Grease zerk fittings? What size are they and can they be added

  • @NexusAuto
    @NexusAuto2 күн бұрын

    @THOMASDRELICH unfortunately, I couldn't tell you the size, as I haven't tried zero fittings myself. It doesn't look like there is a lot of material to thread the fittings into, and there isn't a lot of room between the frame and moving parts inside. So I'm not sure how well a grease fitting will work. Great question though

    I tried jacking my JX35 using a floor (2 ton hydraulic) jack with a 13” max height. However, I found that using the jack points close to the front tire, I was unable to get sufficient clearance to remove the tire, and ended up using the scissor jack that comes with the car. Is there a better point on the JX35 to use where I can get enough clearance without needing to use the scissor jack? Is a 2 ton jack big enough?

  • @NexusAuto
    @NexusAuto10 күн бұрын

    A 2 ton with 13 inch clearance should be enough, unless it's a low profile car jack. But it sounds like you have a standard jack. Did you try the jack point at the front of the engine? Check the video at the 2:00 min mark

    Do you know the part # for the front caliper sliders pins and rubber grommet pieces. 2014 QX60. One of my caliper slider pins were seized. I got it out, but tore the rubber grommet getting it out. I sanded the pin, put a lil grease on the pin and put it back in without the right size rubber grommet piece because I couldn’t find the right size. Used one for a Mariano. It’s a lil smaller but seems to work for now. I also replaced the hub bearing on that side, but since that isn’t making a noise I hear a sound like it at all speeds over 20mph but when I turn the wheel a little to the right it goes away. Brakes sound good and feel great. Car is rolling well. Maybe it’s the slider pin, maybe something with the alignment.

  • @NexusAuto
    @NexusAuto16 күн бұрын

    It's definitely possible that the noise you're hearing is the slider. It's good news you got it out too! For the rubber grommet, are you talking about the little one around the inside part of the slider pin itself, or the larger grommet that sits between the caliper and the caliper bracket? If you mean the one on the slider, you get it with the slider pin itself, and that OEM part number is 41134-3JA0A. If you happen to need the slider pin that doesn't have a rubber bit at the end, the part number is 41133-3JA0A. If you need the larger grommet on the outside the caliper, it comes in a whole seal kit, and that part number is D1120-3JA0A.

    I have a 2018 qx60 that I have a p0101 and c1130 code. Could the p0101 be causing the c1130?

  • @NexusAuto
    @NexusAuto17 күн бұрын

    While anything is possible (I've seen very weird things in cars lol), they should not be related. P0101 is an o2 sensor code, and C1130 is an ABS signal code. They are independent systems and shouldn't be connected. So while I can't confirm for sure from here, it does look like you have 2 issues, unfortunately

    The motor broke in the full rear position , covering the bolts ........ Now what ?

  • @NexusAuto
    @NexusAuto19 күн бұрын

    Honestly, that's a great question, and not one I have the answer to. Only thing I could recommend is to make sure the motor is bad, and not a bad connection or blown fuse. Check the fuse first, and then check if there is power at the connector under the seat (if you haven't already). Sometimes it's the simpler things. But if all that checks out, I'm not sure what to do. I wish I had a better answer for you. I even checked me GP to see if I have any easy solutions, but I couldn't think of any directly (should the motor itself be fried). Hopefully it's just a small easy electrical fix and not the motor itself

    Great video! Also, like most E- throttles, if you do accidently force the butterfly when it is connected to the car with the battery plugged in, you can unplug the battery for about ten seconds or drain the power by turning the key on and off. Next, hook neg lead back up on the battery, turn the key to the on position, wait for the system to boot up with luminating lights and press the foot pedal to the floor 3-5 times or so, then turn the key back to the off position. After, you should be able to start the car and it should run with no problem as the ECU relearned its restored functions.

  • @NexusAuto

    No problem at all! It has varied by vehicle! My dad's 07 Trailblazer seems to get better mileage with Costco gas, whereas my 13 Infiniti (which was used in the test) was best with Canadian Tire. And yep, it really did make a difference. Even earlier this year, I went and tried Mobil and Petro again. I got better Mileage with Mobil this time around vs when I did the test, but not much better. Petro was about the same. I went back to Canadian Tire and there is indeed a difference, even in how it drives. So the fuel company makes a difference for sure, but I also think it depends on manufacturer and engine too. Only way to know for sure is to test it yourself
