Fall 2021 Update - A Little Early

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hello all you wonderful supporters!
It is a little early, but here is my Fall 2021 Update.
At the time of this posting, I had not posted any videos in a couple of weeks, and had not responded to any comments.
There was a lot going on and had to take some time to deal with all the stuff that needed dealing with, and this meant stepping away from KZread for a bit. But I am back and plan to begin reposting videos and responding to all the comments.
I never mentioned it in the video, but I am closing in on 10k subscribers, a milestone for me. And I could not do that without all you great supporters!
Thank you everyone for the continued support, and here we go! See you all next video!

A Little Early....a little late for me considering this is just over a year since this video was posted. LMAO As they say, Life Happens. Your health and the health of family trumps anything on youtube. I've lost 11 family and friends in the last 3 years. Add just everyday stuff to that and it really messes with your head. Take care of yourself and family first and then worry about youtube. The schooling seems to have changed since I went back in 1978. 2 weeks of schooling every 6 months for the first year and If memory serves, the same in the 3rd year. 5 days a week each time. I had to travel to Windsor 5 days a week for 2 weeks each time for the schooling. About an hour and a half drive one way from where I lived. Total of 5 years apprenticeship. Then a final big exam. I was fortunate. I started working with my dad in 69 and did my first tuneup 3 weeks later when I was 11. He taught me a lot about cars. It was all uphill from there. LMAO It's a long story but I completed everything and got my mechanics licence in 2 1/2 years. So much has changed since then. 20 years ago I was wondering what the he!! I was doing working on cars. Why didn't I listen to my dad and find a different career. LOL Anyway, I'm still finding videos of yours to watch and I really do enjoy them. You look after the big engines and I'll take care of the small engines (lawnmowers and weed eaters. They're a lot easier to work on than cars today). You take care of yourself and stay healthy.

how do you feel about infiniti wanting to close dealerships in Canada and have them mergie with Nissan since their sales has been slipping drastically there ?

I get why they are doing it, but like a lot of what Nissan/Infiniti does in recent times, it seems to be bad timing and poorly thought out. As I understand at this point, it is optional for the dealerships. But there is not a lot of dealers here anyways, and they have finally started putting out new products again. Redesigned QX50 and QX60, new QX55, and updated QX80...seems like a weird time to shrink their network. Especially with the QX60 being their bread-and butter vehicle, it is a weird move. I don't know how much, but last I heard, sales were up in Canada this year. I'll close it off with this. I have a family member who owns a QX80, and she loves it. But she lives up north, and just last year, her only local Infiniti closed. Now, she is considering moving to a new manufacturer since she cannot get the car serviced at Infiniti anymore. I imagine there will be quite a few people who do not want to go to 'Nissan' to service their luxury SUV. It's the optics of it.
