    As much as I adore gymnastic it’s time you realize that there are two sides to the proxy war in Ukraine. Adam Schift has said ‘we will fight Russia over there so we don’t have to do it here’ and let’s not forget the ol’ fave of his ‘we will fight till the last Ukrainian’ while I’m sure he has a wonderful stock portfolio in the military industrial complex so every hundred of billion spent of our public money a portion land in his bank account along with many on both sides of the isle. Have you had any counter point to US propaganda? Nope. In fact you’ll just erase comments that don’t look at it from that point of view. I’m sure my comment won’t last long. Forget about the coup the CIA and Victoria Newland (newly retired) backed there or that the U.S. is flooding Europe with weapons and that NATO has Russia surrounded after promising NOT to do that or the fact that Russia isn’t on our border in Canada or Mexico or that Adam Schift’s statement is correct and an entire generation of Ukrainian men have been laid to rest all for what? Generic words like ‘democracy’? Why is Israel not banned after the 40k in civilian casualties from international competition? War is a racket that’s why. Its an absolute shame that people in this country still want to rah rah so the already rich can steal more resources with their inserted puppet while millions of people in this country are homeless and have to choose between medicine and food every day all for weapon sales and the war economy. For any point you’ve made about this war there is a counter point whether you want to acknowledge it or not. #FreePalestine #NoMoreMoneyToUkraine #NoMoreMoneyToIsrael #WarIsARacket #HealthcareNotWarfare #DivestMentallyAndFinanciallyFromTheWarMachine #PeaceOffensive

    I'm obsessed with Gymncastic-BUT I am not an Olivia Karas fan. She is so uninteresting. I know we need to adapt to this time while Spencer gets well, but maybe switch up the guest host. Also no shade to Olivia-she seems super nice! Not a good fit for this show. I didn't even finish the episode

    We need an odd couple pair up... Jessica is already killing with kindness and fangirling. We need someone to throw shade , fact check on the spot, and keep her on topic. That's why her and Spencer worked well. Jessica is still awesome and hilarious, but what about TheSkatingLesson as temporary cohost.

    I agree with the hosts that Simone Biles and Shilese Jones have secured two of the five spots for the Olympics. Another all-arounder would complete this solid foundation, and of the three in contention - Jordan Chiles, Leanne Wong, and Kayla DiCello - Kayla has proven herself most recently, winning all-around titles at the Pan-Am Games and Winter Cup. I'd choose her. That leaves two more, and it seems the team needs strong scores on vault and floor, and could feel more secure with another "capable" beam worker (in case a substitution is needed). A "three fourths" all arounder would be ideal, and it depends on what the selection committee feels needs to be balanced out. Either Jade Carey or Jocelyn Roberson (but not both) could fill the role, and it may just come down to whose execution scores are superior. Skye Blakely would otherwise be an all arounder if she weren't inconsistent on beam. If Carey or Roberson underperform, I'd choose her. The remaining contenders will fill out perceived gaps on the team, and most of the following athletes are exceptional on one event, possibly reliable on another, and not much of an asset on the other two. It could be a specialist on bars (Suni Lee or Gabby Douglass), floor (Kaliya Lincoln), or beam (Konnor McClain). The last seat will be given to the one who is most exceptional on "their" highest-scoring apparatus. There could also be a surprise from the younger seniors, such as Jayla Hang or Simone Rose, or a seasoned NCAA veteran like Trinity Thomas. I hold out hope for someone to build their case at the last minute!

    If the USA ever had multiple NCAA competitors it would have been in the early 70's or 60's...data doesn't say the school/gym for back then..I remember Tonya Service - UCLA, Kelly Garrison-Steves-Oklahoma, Mohini -UCLA and Moneymaker-UCLA, otherwise NCAA as a throng of athletes has been missing since I know the sport until recent times... Never forget that in 1988 3 former US Champions didn't qualify to the US Olympic Team!!!

Liiike be sooo serious. Nastia not only fell at classic but nationals and trials. Gabby won’t be doing that.

    I disagree about the crowd in Italy. They just cheered for the italians. Maybe it's more obvious when you are in the arena.I spoke to some delegation members, they were disappointed about not being supported by the audience.

  • @KaiOpaka
    @KaiOpakaКүн бұрын

    Italians have already said this wasn't true. That the crowd was trying to be respectful. Many Europeans in the comment sections saw it as a cultural difference. Honestly, it reminds me of old school Olympics programs where everyone was quiet and riveted. To me, excessive noise is a rude distraction rather than the intended show of support. If someone yells your name while you're trying to focus on something dangerous, I don't see it as helpful.

  • @JaniceLThinker

    After all the babies Shawn Johnson has, I doubt she can even mount a balance beam. She's pregnant now. So Shawn isn't going to win any bb events. Shawn Johnson never had much artistry when she was at her peak. She'd really get hit with today's code. Nope, she's not going to do well at all under today's code. Shawn was great in her time & was a great bb worker in her era. But that era is past. Pregnancy changes a woman's balance, her center of gravity & other things. Tired of dummies being angry responding of of sentiment & not reality. Shawn Johnson made only one Olympic team. Shawn couldn't excel under the 2009--2012 code. No way is she going to shine under the current, 2021--2024 code. Gymnastics become more difficult with each Olympic quad. Why are idiots pretending the current code is beyond Shawn's skill set? Bored with pea brained sentimentalists, who disparage the greatness of today's current crop of gymnasts.

    you doubt an Olympic gold medallist can mount the beam? What's wrong with you 😂😂 She is not even pregnant at the moment. Also when they talked about 'any gymnast past or present', I'm pretty sure they meant their athletic abilities from in their gymnastics days. Not 15 years after retirement.

    Guys, I think I speak Spencer's language. Spencer, I guess I hope your surgery goes well. I mean, if we're being honest, I was more into surgery going well before it got so popular and really sold out. But if you want to really get into it, I suggest its second album, before it jumped to a major label. The critics hated it because it's beyond their tiny minds, and the juvenile fans haven't discovered it yet. That's how you know it's real, hardcore surgery going well. Give that one a try, if you think you can handle that level of intensity of all your treatment going well. Or whatever [nonchalant hair flip] <3
