Love seeing Olivia Karas here. Thank you for recognizing my favorite OU gymnast AUDREY DAVIS as national champion on bars and beam. YAY! It was NICE that you singled Audrey out as outstanding! THANK YOU!

OMG Audrey Davis on beam… *chef’s kiss* PERFECTION!❤
About Suni's kidney disease. She didn't say she was in stage 4 kidney disease. She said the disease wouldn't have come to light until she was at that point if she would not have had the other diagnosis. She said this in a panel during the team USA summit last week.
Just finished her confessions of D-1 athlete book, excited to see her on your show!
I was at NCAA’s this year, sat in front of the bars. That Cal bar rotation was pretty amazing. It was definitely underscored.

Pretty easy to talk about incorrect scoring at meets where there are two judges.... pretty random to grab that comment out of the air when there are six judges and the high and low score are thrown out

@@justlina2769 I replied to that part of the podcast because I agreed with it. It wasn’t random. And it’s easy to talk about incorrect scoring at any meet no matter the number of judges. It’s often an easy topic of conversation, especially in recent years.

@justlina2769 Try watching the episode, first if all. Secondly, if your premise is more judges = flawless judging...lol.
Not just Andi Li was underscored - the whole CAL team with stick after stick....
Who else is waiting for them to drop an episode for the American classics..? Poor Gabby.
Why is the sound so garbled on the KJ Kindler interview? I saw this when you did it and the sound then was perfectly clear...
I bet you anything KJ Kindler is going to have Lloyd Noble set with podium before nationals next year and they are going to be doing pressure sets for days.
Oh no. Olivia's mic sounded fine on Bridget's podcast.
Have there been any notable gymnasts who didn't take a fifth year except for Anastasia Webb? And had she announced that before she won multiple titles at Nationals?

Maggie Nichols did not do gymnastics in 5th year, but she did student coaching.

@@thesovgc Yes, I remember how angry I was that they could not even finish their season. What a horrible year 2020 was starting in March.

@@ShelleeGraham same. I will never get over Kyla losing her last chance at an AA title
I am a HUGE Olivia Karas fan. 🎉❤😍👏
Last night I had a dream that KJC went to prison for beating up men who were harassing women on the street and she had priors for doing the same thing 😂 Edit: Jess to make you feel better about the grammar thing, I am a linguist and many linguists (esp those who study social media) recognise creative language use in social media as an extension of grammatical functions and not a violation of them.
Audrey Davis is awesome and it always annoyed me that she was not at the end of the lineup for the season.
Olivia Karas was so muffled and blurry....had trouble understanding her. Felt like I was watching a podcast from 2004
Is Spencer ok? I need my data fix

Love Olivia so much. 💯💪🏼

Didn't Leanne fall on beam in team finals at worlds this year as well? That fall was nowhere near as surprising as the OU meltdown.
Not a recap if NCAA. Anyway, NCAA scoring was horrific for all teams except LSU. Congratulations on your win LSU, you deserved the win. I’m just a gymnastics enthusiast who noticed the issues with scoring. I feel LSU deserved their scores but you can take a great performance from other teams and find that they never scored over 9.8+. I was just looking at all FL stuck vault scores that only scored 9.8+. I was also looking at Utah and CAL’s scoring…suspicious. And LSU with nice big steps on vault scored 9.8+ to 9.9+…hmm. Gymnastics is never going to be taken seriously until the scoring issues are addressed. I saw LSU’s coach standing next to the judges scoring other teams a couple of times; I don’t know why…but the scoring speaks for itself.
I am living in my French Vanilla fantasy where Rhonda Faehn gets the Georgia HC job and I will not hear anything different.

Hmmm the air pollution could explain DDs commentary earlier this season.
Where's Utah? Not a single mention.
@Wafflinson
Ай бұрын
Yeah... it was pretty blatant. Not even individual athlete mentions. Hell, I am not sure the name Utah was uttered once in a 4 team field where they were completely in position to win up until the last rotation.

When you do a podcast about nationals... a 4 team event... and manage to not mention a team even once or any of their athletes in a meaningful way.

I didn’t even get done with the podcast when I came to the comments and saw that at least I’m not the only one who noticed this. SMH.
@Wafflinson

@@Phoeberue12 Yeah, its a shame. A podcast about the event is going to draw fans of all four teams. You are losing a big part of the audience by so blatantly excluding one. I was already bummed enough with the choking in the final round without them be completely ignored in the coverage. They were the ones who titled the video as a recap... which it is not.
Cancer alley??? What are you talking about?? You are pretty off base with your whole assessment…..this makes us racist??! Really??? GEEZ!!!
