Like you guys said, if her bars and beam are fantastic, and she could pull an Amanar on vault, her floor only needs to be good enough to go up first in prelims as a last resort. She’s just as legit a contender as McKayla Skinner was at the same time prior to Trials in 2020(21).❤

I think Simone meant it was too late to replace her (only on vault) in team final so she had to go do a vault no matter what; that's the way it came across to me.

Jade had low start values on bars and beam. That is why she looked better than last year.

@@aboutnol Is it confirm that they are leaving? I had always felt that after Paris it would be a possibility. I would like to see Aimee Boorman return as Simone's coach and or the main coach at WCC if that were to happen. To me, she is the one who is MAINLY responsible for Simone being as successful as she has been. She paced her well and ensured that she did not compete a skill that she had not 100% mastered. By doing those two things she also ensured that Simone would never suffer any serious injuries over her career.

I just found out, that Gabby actually had the highest all around D score of the whole competition. She had 0.5 more than Jade. So if you take away the 3 falls, Gabby would've gotten a 53.650 AA score. Meaning 3rd place. and that's just WITH the other errors.

Tammy Biggs was one of my coaches way back in the day….lol.

Gabby is always fun to watch and if she makes the Olympic team she'll be the oldest American Gymnast to compete in 60 years since Larisa Latynina of Soviet Union appeared in her 3rd Olympics at Tokyo in 1964 aged 29 after that it began to favor younger Gymnasts in their mid teens to early 20s examples include Nadia Comăneci Mary Lou Reton Julianne McNemara Dominique Dawes Shannon Miller Svetlana Boginskaya Dominique Moceanu etc. Boginskaya and Dawes both competed in 3 Olympic games Boginskaya in Seoul 1988 Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996 and Dawes in Barcelona 1992 Atlanta 1996 and Sydney in 2000. lets say Gabby Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee make the Olympic team it will be Gabby and Simone's 3rd Olympic games and Sunisa's 2nd it would also be Jade Carey's 2nd Olympics if she makes the team Douglas and Biles will be only the 2nd and 3rd African American Gymnasts to make the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics team 3 times and lets say the US wins team all around Gold this would be the 4th time the US has done that in 28 years since Atlanta in 1996 and lets say Biles wins individual all around Gold Vault Gold Floor Gold Beam Gold and Bars Silver that would bring her to 2nd most decorated Olympian ever with 13 Olympic Medals 9 Gold 2 Silver and 2 Bronze only Latynina of the Soviet Union having more medals 9 Gold 5 Silver and 4 Bronze for 18 total medals over her 3 Olympics but if you bring World Championships combined that would give Simone 43 medals 32 of them Gold

What do you mean since Latynina? How about Chuso? Ponor? Ferrari? So many others, yeah non Americans, who have been in the Olympics and also got a medal later in life? Also if you count world championships when you count medals, then you should also add European championships. In Latynina’s time world championships were happening every four years, not every year like now. Of course Biles has more medals since she’s participated almost every year in a world championship since 2013 (2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2023), in the same 11 years spam Latynina would have appeared in only 2 world championships instead of 6. If you want to make things more equal, include European championships since in that era gymnastics was mostly Europe (besides China which still couldn’t threaten the Soviets). In this case Latynina has 46 medals (25 gold, 15 silver, 6 bronze) in 9 competitions (3 Olympics, 3 world championships, 3 European championships). Biles has 39 (27 gold, 5 silver, 5 bronze) in 9 competitions (3 Olympics and 6 world championships). Latynina wins in total medals, Biles wins in number of Gold medals, Latynina wins in number of gold Olympic medals (she has 9, Biles has 4) and Latynina also wins in total number of Olympic medals (she has 18 total, Biles has 7 total).

I agree I loved her floor despite the tumbling not quite ready. I think she was going for a 5.4-5.5 D but she didn’t get credit on everything.

In one touch warm-up, Gabby didn't show a full bar routine at the American classic. Rumors are she can't get through a full floor routine either.

This is a lie Scott Bregman saw her at warm ups and said she completed a full bars routine and was overall impressed with her during warm ups the only thing he missed was her vault. The rumors in question aren’t even true so why go spreading this? She has an AA program she is competing she wouldn’t have that if she couldn’t do full routines it doesn’t making sense.

She performed her difficult opening pirouetting and release sequence cleanly, before executing a stalder full pirouette and a stalder to piked Tkatchev (Downie) to Pak combination. She finished the routine up with a stalder Shaposhnikova half and a double layout dismount.” Scott goes into detail about what she did during warm ups it’s not hard to find at all lmao

Gabby is in far better shape than Nastia was. Yea. I’m done watching this. Your gymnastics literacy is not up to par. She fell. Sunni has fallen, jade has fallen, Dominque Dawes has fallen. Liiike be sooo serious. Nastia not only fell at classic but nationals and trials. Gabby won’t be doing that.

@@HazelAmarie You're under every video and comment about Gabby's comeback windmilling like it's a job. It's okay for people to not like what/who you like. Some people don't see it for Gabby, including those like me who will be happy to be proven wrong. I don't agree with holding Gabby's comments from 7 years ago against her, especially after she's apologized for them. However, have you considered maybe it has nothing to do with racism and the original commenter simply can't get past her shaming other survivors, regardless of Gabby also being a survivor herself? Her being a survivor does not entitle her to shame others and not get called out for it. Not everything is racism just because it involves a black person.

Well gabby was over rotating off beam in warms up i think she over corrected just like on floor she was over rotating all her tumbling passes in warm ups she has so much more power now
