1:25:28 Entrechat. The one kind of approximated in a beat jump would be the entrechat quatre. ETA In ballet and related techniques, the beats in a quatre should be complete before you start descending.

Talking about judging... because of the NCAA judges, I have started the process of becoming a judge. It may be years down the road that I can be an NCAA judge, but we will fix this. I will be the least favorite because those soft knees and pike downs and flexed feet will be deducted.

Chellsie made a good effort to come back. I was really rooting for her. And it worked out in the end. I just love seeing these grown women competing. And Trinity to come back after NCAA? I love it.

Any idea why winter cup is not being televised?? That seems crazy to me given the roster. Streaming on KZread only seems strange?

For world cups, do points get reassigned after eliminating competitors already qualified? For example, gold medalist already qualified but not the silver medalist. Does the silver medalist get gold medal points or keeps silver points?

Yes! Basically you take the overall ranking and remove everybody who is not eligible (qualified individually, their NOC has a team or 3 individual spots already). Then points are awarded to the remaining athletes (30 for the 1st, 25 for the 2nd...)

I'm just watching. Noy a gymnast or dancer... but when Jessica did her fingers to simulate .... Doesn't Konnor do it in her collegiate beam?

New here, be gentle :) Do any college gymnasts ever say their routine wasn’t a 10 if they had an obvious mistake? It devalues the 10 and I would imagine gymnasts wouldn’t want that to happen to their sport? Does the change need to happen from the inside so to speak?

I think Trinity Thomas sent out a social media text last year at one point saying it wasn't a ten after one meet (she stepped on the landing I think but still got the 10). But that is the only example I can think of :)

Why would you expect to be hearing about Gabby during the years she wasn't competing or training? That doesn't even make sense. I'm super excited to see Gabby compete again! But it totally doesn't make sense to be glad you're "finally" hearing about her instead of Simone (spelled with an E at the end, btw,) when Gabby wasn't competing but Simone has been. Just say you're glad to see Gabby on the scene again. No need to say nonsense things, and no need to tear others down.

Technically women aren’t automatically ballerinas either. Ballerina is a status within a company, EG: corps de ballet, Sololist, principal, etc. After principal is ballerina and the top is prima ballerina. For men when they advance past principal, they are called ballerinos.
