  What truly pains me the most out of this whole situation is that Mike passed away still hoping the franchise could be saved and believed things would turn around. The one and only positive is that he didn't have to be here for the collapse of it all. Here's to hoping that in some way, one day, we'll somehow still get to fulfill his wish though.

  Dear Flippy, I sincerely hope this isn't the end of your channel. I would give anything to see you continue your old playthrough of the original Saints Row, and God, all 4 of them. But at least the first two. You know, the real ones. Your channel gave me a lot of happiness over a lot of years, and nobody loved this game series like we did. I just don't want it to be gone forever. Maybe some day some game studio will buy the rights and remake the game and actually make it good. I've got so many ideas.   I mean I get people would like to make mods and that to the PC version but saints row 2 has been available on both the Xbox 1 and Series X so its still very playable amd accesible for peoppe to play, i would be a whole lot more infatuated with a re mastered version than just a patch for the PC. They re mastered saints row 3 a few years back. I know a saits row 2 remaster would far outsell that.

  SR3 was my first saints row game and I love it but after playing SR2 It instantly became my favorite over SR3. All I wanted for The SR reboot was the serious straight forward badass energy from SR2 and the flamboyant fun behavior from SR3 but for it mostly be SR2, and they fucked it up with this game

  here is a quick note: you need Xenia experimental, not Xenia stable. Xenia stable does not scan for downloable content, but xenia experimental does (Xenia Canary). You need to goggle it because i couldn't find a direct link from the official Xenia page, they only point towards the master.

  I thought alot about it and what made Saints row 2 a great piece of gaming and story telling was it was like playing a Terentino film. Terentinos movies are out there and obsured. But the characters in it never point out how crazy the story is they just react as if its all a serious situation. And thats what Saints row 2 did. The situations were out there and crazy but the characters took it seriously and sure they played and joked but when things were serious they got serious. And thats what saints row is missing. The boss was a psyco path but he did have a heart under all that. And thats the problem with recent saints row titles they don't feel like they have heart. Its just silly and random like a millenial writing team gone rouge.
