This was actually the only time I've ever played THPS4, through a surfer demo. Ironically enough, I loved the Tony Hawk games, playing Underground, Underground 2 and American Wasteland. So this being the only time I played any of the OG THPS games was surreal lol. I especially remember the mission of riding on your back along the skateboard, and not being able to walk was always weird for me

You have to boot it in PCSX2 on PC to trigger the demo to load like this. Loading on PS2 it plays normally.

Since you're back on YT, I'd love to analysis of the THPS series that you originally wanted to do in your Tony Hawk's Pro Hater 2. I always wondered why people were so down on the later iterations of THPS (the final, rushed, horrible one not withstanding)

One thing I noticed is that the skyscrapers in College, and alternative aquarium only ever appear once in the trailer, which means that was an eariler build of the game compared to the rest of the trailer.

I'm guessing the basketball minigame was added in because they wanted to make the game seem more interactive as opposed to arcadey. They later leaned fully in this direction with THUG and esp in American Wasteland.

Tony Hawk didn’t have just one bmx level. American Wasteland had a full fledged trick system designed for bmx

I've been playing this game for god knows how long and this is how I find out you can play the level on the main menu screen

Vicarious Visions knew the THPS series from top to bottom as they were responsible for the PS1 version you mentioned in the description, the GBA and DS THPS games, the lost THPS4 halfpipe mobile game, and the remake, complete with reverts, ground and grind modifiers, almost all of the original THPS soundtracks from the first and second games, create a skater, and a in depth Create A Park that many people have used to make amazing Parks, like the Hoffman Factory from Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX, the Braille Warehouse, and even Los Angelas from THPS3.

Hey dude, I just tried this out on PCSX2 and I don't think you noted in the video; you can also make custom builds of the Pro Skaters, the dev build also allows you to change their clothing and it looks pretty cool having a custom Bam or Tony Hawk lol
